Hi friends! As we put the cherry on top of the 2020 dumpster fire and say ADIOS to this year, I wanted to take a minute to say thank you.
I don’t take this blog or the work I’m able to do for granted, ever. Every single day I’m excited to connect with all of you in this space which first began when the Pilot told me to “stop shopping online so much and find a hobby that doesn’t cost anything.” <— lol. The blog has grown and changed so much over the years, and whether you’re an OG blog reader (thank you!!!) or a new friend (hi! welcome!!), I hope you know how much I appreciate you hanging out with me over here.

Happy memory: visiting my parents’ new house in Florida back in February (before we knew of the impending pandemic). Having my husband join me in working from home – I did so before now, but it’s nice to have lunch/breaks together!

My happiest memory from this year was hiking with my kids and husband in Garden of the Gods IL. Just a perfect day! I couldn’t figure out how to leave a podcast comment, but I really enjoy the show (just listen to it on an Android via Pocketcasts). I had an injury recently and have been walking a lot, so I really enjoyed the latest episode about walking. Thanks for what you do!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working from home this year. My commute was 25 min. each way so I’ve been given the gift of time this year (especially considering most days I don’t put make up on and sometimes don’t even get out of my jammies). The dog is loving having me at home too!
Best thing from 2020 is that I graduated from nursing school and started a new career. I also can’t complain about more time with the family since they are all home!
It was wonderful to have my husband, who typically travels weekly for work, home with us full-time! Our last of 4 kids turned 2 this summer, so it’s been a sweet time to be together as we leave the baby phase of life behind for good. Thanks for this giveaway!

Favorite memory of 2020 is a concert we went to back in January! It was the Black Pumas and I obviously had no idea how long it would be before I got to go to another concert!

We took a leap of faith and moved to a new state- new jobs, new school, knew no one. Some of it has been great and some of it is still in flux. A great memory from this time is all the hiking we have gotten to do in our née home.

Happy 2020 memory: Renting a house with my “Covid bubble” family for a week over the summer and enjoying some nature, some peace, and what felt like an escape from…well, everything!
Snuggling with my almost-four-year-old every morning is my favorite part of 2020. It started after we got Covid and started sleeping in. In savoring all the snuggles because I know he is growing so fast!
