Annual survey + Favorite Things Giveaway

Hi friends! As we put the cherry on top of the 2020 dumpster fire and say ADIOS to this year, I wanted to take a minute to say thank you.

I don’t take this blog or the work I’m able to do for granted, ever. Every single day I’m excited to connect with all of you in this space which first began when the Pilot told me to “stop shopping online so much and find a hobby that doesn’t cost anything.” <— lol. The blog has grown and changed so much over the years, and whether you’re an OG blog reader (thank you!!!) or a new friend (hi! welcome!!), I hope you know how much I appreciate you hanging out with me over here.

Every click, comment, follow, like, product purchase, and pageview directly helps our family and I am sending you so much love and gratitude.

How about a little giveaway?

Each year, I put together some of my favorite products to surprise a lucky reader friend.

One lucky winner will receive the following prizes:

Happy memory: when we were quarantined for Covid over Halloween my coworker made goody baskets for my kids and left them at my door. Neighbors dropped off adult beverages and food .

The good thing about 2020 was working from home and being able to take walks with my husband and our dog.

I got promoted in 2020 and finished a painful work course in my COVID time so that was my silver lining!

Few positives of 2020: husband and I now cook together since we don’t go out to dinner, the unconditional love and endless tail wags from my fur babies!!

My happiest memory of 2020 is probably being up in Michigan with my family. We were outside doing the simple things in life and just enjoying each other’s company and it was such a nice mental break!

I decided this was the year to go back to teaching “bigger” students. I know, seems odd to return to a hard job during a pandemic! I only teach part-time and overall it hasn’t been too bad! As you could imagine there really is nothing part-time to teaching because you have plenty of extra stuff to do even if it is at home. I also convinced a friend to accept a teaching job because she always wanted to and the jobs were plentiful! BTW, first grade is quite a fun grade to teach!
