Hi friends! As we put the cherry on top of the 2020 dumpster fire and say ADIOS to this year, I wanted to take a minute to say thank you.
I don’t take this blog or the work I’m able to do for granted, ever. Every single day I’m excited to connect with all of you in this space which first began when the Pilot told me to “stop shopping online so much and find a hobby that doesn’t cost anything.” <— lol. My favorite memory from 2020 is my wedding! It was NOTHING like what was originally planned (May 2020), but it ended up even better in my opinion. So small/intimate and none of the family “politics” of you have to invite this person or do this thing or that. It was exactly what we wanted with only a handful of loved ones there to support. <3

This year had soo many happy memories, mostly big milestones for my newly 6 year old daughter: she learned to ride a bike, swim, read, lost 3 teeth, and started kindergarten (virtually of course). So much growth and I got to see more of it because we’ve been at home so much. So for that I’m very grateful.

My favorite memory was being able to have a week vacation with my parents (mama kicked cancer’s butt this year!) my sister and her little family and my family. We rented a cabin in the woods and it was magical! Cousins playing. Hiking in the mountains. Fishing with grandpa. It was truly the best part of this year.

Happiest memory- traveling with my fam to the Cayman Islands last January. Our last carefree trip for a while, I’m sure. Runner up- getting pregnant with our 3rd boy (only the runner up cause I miss the beach soooooo much).

Favorite memory from 2020 would be either our trip to Jamaica in February before the ‘rona took over or our road trip to South Dakota. The town we stayed in was so small and didn’t have carry out at any of the restaurants we wanted. So we ended up getting fried chicken from the only grocery store in town twice and eating out of our cooler the rest of the time – funny memories and great scenery.

My happiest memories have been all of the hikes I’ve gone on this year since moving to Utah in December 2019. 🙂

My favorite memory of 2020…my husband let our girls shave his head during lockdown and we would do a daily skit posted on facebook of a movie scene with a bald character:)

Memory: Fourth of July trip and October birthday trip (both driving less than one day) to visit my very best friend in CO. Doing all the outdoor things.
