Hi friends! As we put the cherry on top of the 2020 dumpster fire and say ADIOS to this year, I wanted to take a minute to say thank you.
I don’t take this blog or the work I’m able to do for granted, ever. Every single day I’m excited to connect with all of you in this space which first began when the Pilot told me to “stop shopping online so much and find a hobby that doesn’t cost anything.” <— lol. My happiest memory of 2020 is being able to visit family in the summer (when restrictions were looser and travel was allowed). I feel very grateful that I was able to see them this year!

Happy memory from 2020 was being able to hike outdoors with my elderly parents. So grateful that they were able to participate and glad I could spend time with them amidst all this crazy.

Got to start working from home and that eliminated my 2 hours of driving a day so I get to spend that time with my kids
This year I lost 12 pounds and began strength training again and seeing more definition in my body. I am very proud of myself!

Thankful that I have a job and a home and that my children have the same. Have been blessed as many have lost these things. In 2020 My granddaughter got a diagnosis for a medical problem that she was dealing with and is finally on the mend and healthy.

Happy memory from 2020 was watching my 2 year old twin boys learn to ride their strider bikes!! They were cruising the whole neighborhood by then end of the summer, and I was fortunate to be working from home to be there with them!

We went as a family to Lake Tahoe this past August for a week. It was awesome to be out in nature!
A happy memory from 2020, is really just long walks I took with my family. It was amazing to see how much my kids grew this year and see them going from sitting in the stroller to walking with us.
those are some of my favorite memories, too! both kids started riding bikes without training wheels back in march and now they’re pros
My favorite memory from 2020 was seeing he bioluminescence algae in San Diego this past spring. So magical.

My three twenty something daughters spent the month of June quarantining from our home.

A happy memory of this year was all the time I spent outside. Even though I missed the gym in some ways, it was nice to take more walks and hikes and be out in nature.

Something happy from 2020 – we got the sweetest pup to add to the family. He serendipitously fell into our lives and we adore him!
I loved getting extra time with my babies while they are babies. I know I can’t get this time back.

A happy memory from 2020 for me is moving into my current home with my wonderful boyfriend — plenty of space to have all our animals AND my grand piano!
