Hi friends! As we put the cherry on top of the 2020 dumpster fire and say ADIOS to this year, I wanted to take a minute to say thank you.
I don’t take this blog or the work I’m able to do for granted, ever. Every single day I’m excited to connect with all of you in this space which first began when the Pilot told me to “stop shopping online so much and find a hobby that doesn’t cost anything.” <— lol. The blog has grown and changed so much over the years, and whether you’re an OG blog reader (thank you!!!) or a new friend (hi! welcome!!), I hope you know how much I appreciate you hanging out with me over here.

A happy memory of 2020 has been getting to spend so much time in the home we purchased 1 year ago!

Much needed family time will definitely be some of the happy memories from this year. As a working parent with traveling and working out of the office, family time, spending quality time with kids is hard to carve out!
This year with the opportunity to work from home and do virtual learning from home (not easy at all and quite a bit of juggling to get into a rhythm!) gave us that time with each other and create new memories to remember the pandemic with emotions other than anxiety and fear of the unknown.
I was also thankful and will remember all the mornings and evenings not spent in rush hour traffic trying to fly down the highway to relieve the sitter or get to an extracurricular activity on time.
I have been a longtime reader and resonate your thoughts on fitness, clean and healthy eating. You were a strength when I decided to give up caffeine due to health reasons but didn’t know what a day would be like without starting it with a cup o’joe!
Your posts have kept a sense of normalcy during this unprecedented year as we’ve all tried to find comfort in the little things!! A heartfelt Thank You for that, Gina!!

My son being born in January of this year was pretty traumatic and the first month was HARD bc he was in the NICU. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been such a joy watching him grow and thrive the past 11 months!

I am so very thankful this year gave me the opportunity to work from home and while being with the kids 24/7 and elearning have been adjustments, they have actually been happy memories for me.

The best thing about 2020 has been spending so much time with my favourite people. I’m glad I’ve been locked down with them.
Best memory of 2020: buying our first home after renting for 15 years. Second best: we now have room for a king bed and you had just posted your master bedroom reveal. We copied you and have the same bed and end tables from West Elm! Love your blog and all the content. Happy 2021!

A happy memory from this year… it’s hard to pick just one.
Maybe being able to finish work early while I had a pay cut at work, and we religiously went to the park as soon as I finished to exercise together as a family. We had the best weather during our first lockdown and an unusual amount of sun for Ireland!
