Everydrop Water Filter (+ a giveaway!)
I always have my water bottle with me, and pack one up for Livi too since she loves to drink water all day. Even when I travel, I’ll put an empty large water bottle in my backpack and fill it once I get through security. It’s better than buying plastic bottles, and this way, I have a water bottle for my trip. Here’s the thing, though: when I travel, the water kind of sketches me out. I’m always hearing about different things that can be found in the water system -ok, and I was traumatized when I read an article about some things that were found in Tucson- so I always figure: the more filtration, the better. Needless to say, I was pretty excited when Whirlpool Water offered to send me an EveryDrop Water Filter to try out. It was much smaller than I imagined, and came in a cute travel case. I quickly assembled it, and couldn’t wait to try it out: Something that surprised me was how quickly the water came out! It would be so easy to use this between a public water fountain and my bottle. In reality, I don’t see myself carrying it around with us all the time -I have too much to lug around as is -but it is definitely something I’ll use while traveling. This is a pretty cool giveaway!
One technique I have that helps me drink more water is having straws everywhere! I don’t know why, but something about drinking cold water out of a straw is so refreshing! This helps me drink more water throughout my day. I also carry a water bottle in my purse and have a different one at my desk – that way I’m always covered if I forget one!
This sounds like such a fun tool to use, especially with travel in my case! I would love a chance to try it out and integrate it into my busy life.
Hi – To make sure I get enough water throughout the day, I drink a glass of water before every meal or snack, fill my water bottle 3+ per day and drink a glass before bed. Adding lemon changes it up a bit and is great for curbing appetite and your skin!!!!
I always carry my nalgene with me and drink a full glass of water right when I wake up!
I recently purchased a Citruszinger water bottle and it’s helped me consume lots more water throughout the day! Keeps pulp fruit separate from water!! So good!
I have a huge nalgene water bottle on my desk all day and I try to empty it three times–that way I know I’m getting exactly enough water during the day.
Sometimes at home I’ll drop a few frozen berries into my water to give it a little extra flavor. Delicious!
I love this giveaway……….the water out of my faucet is not great………bleh…..so I’d love to win this:)
I always keep a water bottle with me- and I use it as an excuse to get up from my sedentary job once an hour to fill up. Some of the girls I work with will set an alarm once an hour, but I’ve never gotten into that habit.
I add lemon slices or have seltzer!
Such a cool giveaway! I dont always trust public fountains so this would be amazing!!!!!
I have to drink out of my 30 oz water cup with a straw. For some reason I can’t drink much without using a straw, but when I have one, I don’t stop!
I’ve been hearing a lot about this little wonder! Would love to be able to try it because I drink tons of water! I make sure I always have some sort of water bottle with me everywhere I go. Its mostly just plain water but I do add some lemon once in awhile!
I keep separate water bottles everywhere. One in the office, one in my car, and one in my gym bag. That way I’m never without and I always have a constant reminder to drink more water!
I drink a big glass right before bed and am trying to drink another one upon getting up in the morning. Add that to the rest of my water intake during the day and it really adds up.
I do 16 oz with breakfast to start, then just fill up a water bottle throughout the day. I put some True Lemon Lemonade in my giant Nalgene for my workouts — it’s such a great treat! I’m really picky about filtering water as well… makes me nervous just how forgiving the acceptable levels of chemicals are.
I have times written on my water bottle so I know how much I need to drink by each time of the day. That way I’m not trying to guzzle 2L before bed!
I definitely slack in the water consumption department, but I try to make an effort to divide my water intake by morning, afternoon, and evening. For a boost of energy, I love to add some chia seeds as well!
Ever since I brought a large reusable tumbler (with a straw) to work my water consumption has gone way way up. It is so easy to sip on while working and for some reason encourages me to drink way more than the water-bottle I used to bring.
Very excited for this! I travel a lot and rely on airport drinking fountains to fill my bottles….and yes, it does skeeve me out a bit.
My method for drinking more water throughout the day is to make it a habit to carry around a water bottle with me. I also like to make flavored waters. -thanks for the giveaway!
My technique at work is to use the project I’m working on to prompt more water intake. I can’t move onto another project/page/phone call until I’ve consumed an X amount of water. If I’m making several phone calls back to back it’ll be 3 sips in between phone calls. If it’s a larger project then I’ll need to finish the bottle and fill it up before I can move onto the next thing.
Since I doubt my boss would accept the excuse, “Well I couldn’t finish that project because I didn’t drink the correct amount of water”, work gets done and I get hydrated. 🙂
This is an awesome giveaway!
What a great giveaway, I’ve been looking into water filters recently after learning some scary things too! I definitely use the big water bottle method! I have a large klean kanteen that I refill throughout the day, if I’m at home I’ll use that water bottle with a straw. For some reason I drink way more water when using a straw! I also love lemon, mint, and cucumber infused water 🙂
I drink plenty of herbal tea or add lemon! Works great 🙂
I’m always trying to find new ways to up my water intake b/c I definitely look and feel better when I do. I love adding lemon or cucumber to my water to add a little extra flavor. I also do a water check around 3pm every day at work to see how much I’ve had…at that point if I haven’t had 3 of my water bottles (about 64oz) then I make myself drink another bottle by 4pm. That way I know whatever I drink when I get home (usually one more bottle) will be enough to meet my goals!
Great giveaway! I try to fill my water bottle between each class and drink from it throughout classes and meetings, which keeps me hydrated throughout the day. Then I just have to find time to hit the bathroom! 😉
I usually add a can or two of La Croix a day to keep up the hydration! I’m also ify on water from fountains, especially when traveling!
This may sound stupid and simple, but I have found that if I use a water bottle w/ a straw, I drink significantly more water than I do when I use my wide-mouthed jug. 🙂 During work, I set small goals like “I will drink 3 bottles by noon” and its like a race so I don’t let myself down. It works!
I find it most difficult to drink a lot of water when I am away from the house all day. Be it running errands or traveling, water just isnt as accessible as it is at home. I try to always take a water bottle with me and refill it with every bathroom stop.
At work I make a game of trying to drink a certain amount by a certain time! Also bring a water bottle everywhere
I drink a ton of water every day and was just looking into filter options. What a great giveaway!
I have a Sigg bottle that I love and I decorated it with mustache duct tape and two stickers from Alaska. It’s bright and happy and reminds me to drink lots of water. The filer would be perfect for me right now since I”m living in hotels till the end of December!
This is great – I want to start drinking more water and filtered fresh water is the best!
This is great – I want to start drinking more water and filtered fresh water is the best!
I just have reusable bottles with me at all times – one at work, one at home, one that travels with me (even on errands). I find that if I even forget it for running errands around town, I’m parched!
i just keep a 32 oz bottle of water on my desk at work. i try to drink one in the morning and one in the afternoon!
I don’t have a good way and need one. . . Maybe this would help. The water at my work is not the best.
I love lemon slices in my water! It makes it so refreshing and it’s really good for you too!
I really love drinking water all day, and usually have no problem getting it in. The best way to ensure I’m getting enough is to always carry a water bottle with me. I also have a big Nalgene, so with that, I am good! This filter looks really awesome!!
I always keep my large Tervis Tumbler with me and fill it up constantly throughout the workday. Lately, I’ve been adding a squeeze of Meyer lemon to my water, which makes it taste delicious!
i drink more water in 4-6 oz increments that seeing a big water bottle in front of me that i have to gup down
A fun water container always helps me drink more water. At a recent hotel stay, they had lemons and cucumbers in water available for guests. I realize this is so old news, but I hadn’t had it in so long so it was quite delightful for me.
As much as I would like to get this for myself, I think my mother in law would really like it so if I win – Merry Christmas, MIL!!!!!!!!!!
When I bought my house last summer, it came with a very fancy reverse osmosis 4-step water filtration system thingy (technical term, of course). It only costs about $50 a year to maintain and considering how often I would have to buy and replace Brita filters in the past, this is kind of a steel (especially since the previous owner forked over the $1K to install it!). My mom is one in my family who gets really weird about her water and I’m constantly on her case about the amount of water bottles she uses (I teach classes in climate change and sustainability). I might get this for her for Christmas!
I stash water bottles everywhere! There is one in my car, one at home, and one at work. That way if I forget one, I have no excuse. I also carry one in my purse at all times.
Since last year I have been trying to drink 3 liters of water per day. My skin was dull & I was losing energy through my workouts, but since upping my H2O intake I have seen a huge difference. I am in need of a new cute and practical water bottle and would love to win!

I love water!!! I try to drink 99 oz. a day. I always carry my water bottle with me. Some of the tricks I do to make sure I get enough are: take my water bottle with me everywhere I go. When I am at the gym, I take a drink after each set when I am lifting. It really adds up that way! Also, in my car, I take a big drink before I get out of the car and then another big drink when I get into my car. I also take vitamins and supplements and use my water to wash them down. I, too, pack an empty bottle when I travel and fill it up after I am through security. I hate using plastic so this is what works best for me but sometimes the water fountain water isn’t so great tasting.
Honestly, water is my #1 procrastination technique! I refill my water bottle when I need a break from work!
I always have a FULL bottle of water by my desk!
