Everydrop Water Filter (+ a giveaway!)
I always have my water bottle with me, and pack one up for Livi too since she loves to drink water all day. Even when I travel, I’ll put an empty large water bottle in my backpack and fill it once I get through security. It’s better than buying plastic bottles, and this way, I have a water bottle for my trip. Here’s the thing, though: when I travel, the water kind of sketches me out. I’m always hearing about different things that can be found in the water system -ok, and I was traumatized when I read an article about some things that were found in Tucson- so I always figure: the more filtration, the better. Needless to say, I was pretty excited when Whirlpool Water offered to send me an EveryDrop Water Filter to try out. It was much smaller than I imagined, and came in a cute travel case. I quickly assembled it, and couldn’t wait to try it out: Something that surprised me was how quickly the water came out! It would be so easy to use this between a public water fountain and my bottle. In reality, I don’t see myself carrying it around with us all the time -I have too much to lug around as is -but it is definitely something I’ll use while traveling. If you’d like to win your own + a $100 Visa gift card, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post with techniques you use to drink more water. I love adding strawberries or cucumber to my water to give it a little boost of freshness! Keeps me drinking more of it throughout the day.
I keep my water bottle with me everywhere I go. I am pretty consistent with how much I drink and what time I’m usually ready for a refill. Using the same bottle every day helps me to keep track of how much I’ve had.
I bring my water bottle every day and make at least 4 trips to the water cooler 🙂
I try to drink at least 16 oz of water before leaving for work. I find that if I start my day that way, I am more likely to consume more water throughout the day!
A November goal of mine is to drink more water. I’ve been enjoy 16 oz of water with two tbs of lemon juice and two tbs of apple cider vinegar in the morning. I actually like how it tastes! Hopefully I can take this habit through the holiday season and into the new year!

I drink two glasses at the house in the morning with my vitamins and then I have a nalgene container that I carry with me everywhere. I try to fill it up 2 or 3 times. I also make sure I drink another glass or two right before bed!
I like to put herbs in my water to make it taste nice 🙂
I chug a full glass of water everyday, before I am allowed to drink my coffee. I ALWAYS love my coffee in the am, so it feels like a reward:) Then to keep the momentum going I either drink hot or cold water throughout the day. I live in MN, so sometimes I am just too cold for a glass of cold water. Then I just drink plain hot water and find that I like the way it warms me up!
Ahhh water. I’ve always thought it was so strange that people really struggle to drink enough water or that some people right out “don’t like” water. Water is amazing!
I love to use lemon, cucumbers, basil, frozen fruit (especially frozen strawberries, watermelon or mangoes, yum!) to infuse my water. (my favorite combo is fresh basil and frozen strawberries or the ever-classic lemon/cucumber spa water)
I ALWAYS carry a reuseable water bottle with me. I’ve found a BPA-free water bottle that comes with a straw works best for me. I love my nalgene (I’ve had the same one for eight years, no joke those things are serious!) but I find that I often spill water all over my face if I try to drink on the train or walking. So using a water bottle with straw leaves me no excuse to not drink water, I can drink on my bike, walking, going up stairs, on a carried subway, my water drinking knows no limits with a straw-ed water bottle!!
Living in San Francisco I find I’m cold- ALL THE TIME. I’ll make some hot water and throw some lemon or ginger in there if I’m feeling extra spunky and sip on that. It’s a great way to hydrate and warm up! Put in a travel mug for warm and happiness on the go.
Even though I eat clean most days I find I need a treat or two (a latte, maybe some chocolate, a cocktail) to keep my soul happy, my rule is have the treat! have the second treat! but I have to drink 8 ounces of water before having said treat. An extra 8 oz right there, and sometimes the water fills me and serves as remainder of the commit I’ve made to treat my body like a temple and be thoughtful about what I put into it, so a lot of times I’ll drink my 8oz and find I don’t want the treat anymore or I won’t want as much of it.
Lastly, and this one is simply tough love, my biggest technique for drinking more water is simply to drink more water. I make it a priority, I just do it. I’m lucky enough to live in a country where clean water is readily available so I find I don’t really have an excuse to not drink enough water. I just do it. That’s a lame technique I know! But hey, there are lots of things we all have to “just do”.
Oh water, what would I do without you? (Besides dehydrate, get headaches, have an unclear complexion, have digestion issues and be unable to live.)
I use a nalgene bottle and make sure I drink a minimum of 2 a day, but I aim for 4.
I always add water instead of juice to my morning smoothies — that gives me 3 or 4 cups depending on the smoothie! And I keep a cup at work to fill up while I’m sitting at my desk.
I love lemon + water in the morning when I wake up! I’ve heard it’s a good detox.. but I honestly just like the flavor and having a warm mug 🙂
I try to chug a nalgene first thing in the AM, and one at night right before bed- it helps me either set a good precedent for the day, or play catch up to try to hydrate before I sleep. It’s a trick I learned from a book, where they mentioned that sleep can actually be dehydrating.
I have three nalgenes and fill them in the morning and try to drink them. I feel so much better when I drink them and so awful when I don’t (which is a lot).. 🙁
I carry my 32 oz water bottle with me literally everywhere I go. If it’s in my hand or within reaching distance, I tend to drink more of it. It helps that we have filtered water at work and a water filter on the faucet at home so I feel better about drinking as much water as I do.
i love adding either lemon or lime to my water…makes a HUGE difference!
Get a fun water bottle!
I teach 8th grade and tell my 8th graders in each 2 hr class to remind me to drink all of my 32 oz bottle by the end of class, ensuring that I get 3 by the end of the school day. They love having tasks like that to help me out!

Adding lemon to my water really helps me to drink more. Also, as simple as it sounds, having a water bottle I really like {pretty} helps me to remember to drink out of it. I started carrying one around me with a few weeks ago, and not it goes everywhere with me. I have a goal of filling it up 3 times a day.
I just drink a lot, between exercise, meals & nursing it’s not too difficult. I’m going to try to tally it tomorrow!
What a cool gadget! I fill my 750 ml camelbak bottle at least 3xs per day to make sure I am getting enough water 🙂
To get my body the hydration it needs I keep a Nalgene bottle that I’ve put likes with times of the day so I can make sure I’ve drank enough throughout my day. Sometimes it can be hard to drink water non stop, so this method works well for me! Also lately I’ve been loving citrus infused water.
I always carry my water bottle with me and I think drinking out of a straw makes it more exciting! Or adding some fruits!
I try to drink a full glass of water before every meal and snack. This forces me to meet my daily intake of water and also helps me think about whether I’m really hungry or just thirsty before I mindlessly eat a snack.
I take a water bottle with me everywhere and set a goal to drink a certain number of them. I know when I have it with me, I’ll drink it!

Few people need 64 ozs. of water per day, actually, much less 96++.
I always carry a water bottle with me but there are places where the water doesn’t taste quite right. For traveling this little water filter would be perfect!
I drink at least 2 cups of water before I leave for work and carry a water bottle with me.
I don’t need any tricks…I just love water!
I love my water simply on the rocks! No lemons, limes, bubbles…etc. I love my leakproof Tervis tumbler sport bottle. It goes with me everywhere.
I love to put frozen fruit in my water.
I LOVE drinking water! I carry a nalgene with me during the day at work, and I shoot for 3 (24-oz) bottles a day. I’m most successful when I take a full bottle to class with me. I’m a college professor and the water keeps me hydrated while talking for 50-75 minutes, and helps me to pace my lectures!
At home, I have a harder time drinking my water, but recently realized that if I have a straw in my cup, I’ll drink water like nobody’s business. It’s gone in no time! 🙂

I have noticed how much drinking more water helps skin and energy. I use my beloved pink camelbak and take it everywhere with me. It makes drinking water fun, and if I have it with me, I drink more. I also put lemon in a infused water bottle at night and drink the lemon water in the morning.
I carry around my camelback water bottle everywhere I go and am constantly refilling it!
I just make sure to have lots of water w me always. Also adding some lemon to change things up helps too!
I try to drink 3 giant smartwater bottles a day (i reuse bottles). I’m pretty good about hitting my goal but a lot of the time I finish the last two after I get home. The water at my work is horrible. So bad that there’s this gritty aftertaste to it! Since I can’t carry around 2 giant bottles with me and all the other stuff I get the afternoon ‘ugh’. Maybe I need to find a nice 70oz bottle somewhere….
I like my water room temp. Right now there are 2 water bottles on my desk at home and 3 more sitting next to my fridge. I found having so many around guilts me into drinking water like its my job!
Oh I carry my water bottle with my EVERYWHERE. Its like my third arm. I seriously feel like I’m missing something when I leave the house without it.
I have an awesome Klean canteen that I’ve had for 10 years and I bring it everywhere I go. Plus I live in Colorado and the water is amazing!!!! I love to drink it and usually don’t have to think about it
I’m pretty simple with my water. I like it cold or with lots of ice and I aim for a minimum of a gallon a day. I carry a Camelbak with me and know that three of them is one gallon.
I find I drink more water if it’s really cold! So I make a lot of ice with filtered water every day, and add it to my bottles. Waaay more likely to drink what I need when I do this!
Our water here in remote Alaska leaves a lot to be desired (there are issues with JP-5 contamination from when it was a Navy base and there’s also lead piping in our housing, eeesh!) so we try to double filter whenever possible. It also makes it taste so much better!
I try to carry my waterbottle with me all the time, especially to work and on errands! It keeps me up when I’m tired and I honestly feel better when I get plenty of water. I also really like TJ’s sparkling flavored water – the raspberry lime is just YUM!
I find that carrying a cute water bottle with me everywhere makes it easy to drink water throughout the day, and it also helps me to keep track of how much I’ve actually taken in.
I am addicted to water. Not the worst addiction (unless you count all the trips to the bathroom). I LOVE the idea of a portable water filter. I have filled up my trusty bottle at some sketchy water fountains before… and YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHATS IN THAT WATER. It’s terrifying! But my thirst always prevails, and I’m forced to drink what’s available. *sigh*

I like bringing La Croix or other sparkling water to ensure I drink plenty through the day. I’m a teacher and have no planning periods without students so its sometimes hard to make it to the water fountain (ew) to refill my water bottle- sparkling water to the rescue!
Cucumber water is my fave. And since it’s cold in WA (boo) I’ve started drinking more herbal tea and hot lemon water.
I always have my water bottle with me and it is filled with ice, water & lemons! I am very active -I workout 2-3 hours every day so for me, hydration is very important! I drink 2 bottles of water in the morning before I allow myself to drink coffee or green tea. Also, I drink a bottle of water prior to lunch and dinner.
