Fave things giveaway: Tiny Devotions
Hi! Happy almost-Friday. Hope you’re enjoying the morning! Some new stuff going around the blog: there is a “book” tab in the menu bar, I also updated my “Friends” tab (with my favorite blogs; many of you said you used it for your daily blog reading and it was MIA!) and new Livi-isms post up on the family page. Also, I wrote a post for Demos Health about the 5 things that keep people from getting fit if you’d like to check it out here!!
Now it’s time for today’s giveaway, which is something I wear every.single.day.
Tiny Devotions mala beads!! (Stacked here with two Pura Vida bracelets)
I’ve been wearing the Tiny Devotions mala beads for a few years now and love how they look and feel, but also what they stand for. They’ve been worn for thousands of years for their spiritual and healing qualities. When you wear your mala beads, you can use them to set an intention for each day or for your life in general. There are a variety of stones, materials and cords to choose from (which all mean different things!).
Today, I’m giving away a Goddess Stack ($127).
This rhodonite, lotus and garnet stack has the intention of loving your inner goddess.
Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are. This stack will help the beautiful goddess in us all shine through. The lotus promotes new beginnings and the combination of all the stones will balance you and increase your well-being. Butterflies represent transformation. They evolve from a caterpillar into a beautiful, wondrous being – much like a woman finding her inner goddess!
Garnet, Rhodonite, Lotus
One size fits all. Adjustable string fitting a 5inch-8inch wrist.

I try to set the intention to be kind to myself (new mom struggle!)
I try to be grateful day to day.
I try to let the small things go and remain positive and grateful for all I have. If it isn’t a 7 out of 10 on the stress/angry/upset scale, then I try to keep a smile on my face and let it go!
My intentions vary each day, but one that is very important to me is to be present. Be present in the moment and don’t say “I wish I did this” or “I should have done that”. I am exactly where I’m supposed to be right now.
I set an intention to be fully present with my kids as much as I can, to enjoy being home with them, and to be thankful for all our blessings. I love this company and have wanted a stack of their bracelets for so long! My husband and I both wear matching mala beads that represent strength-when I was 20 weeks pregnant we found out our daughter had a major birth defect. I got us the mala beads as a reminder and symbol of her strength, and I seriously do not leave the house without them! I would love to have some other bracelets to add on to it.
To remember that my son will only be little for a very short time.
I intend to do at least one nice thing for someone everyday, even if it’s something as simple as driving my grandmother to the grocery or complimenting someone’s outfit. Small acts may seem trivial, but they can really brighten someone’s day.
An intention that you set for myself each day is to make each person I come in contact with feel better when they leave my presents than when they entered.
I try to be patient. I have 3 kids, and some days its easier then others.
I don’t set any daily intentions on a regular basis…but maybe I should start!
Recently my intention every day has been patience. I really try to work on it every day. I just need more patience.
I try to remember to drink 2L of water a day
I try to slow down and appreciate things.

Recently I’ve sent an intention to trust my body (to accomplish a specific goal).

My intention every day is to love and accept myself: realizing that the person I am is not reflected by how much I get done or by anything I accomplish, but in how I treat others with love and respect.

Relish each day. Even the days when I spend 2 hours in traffic and 11 hours at work.

To remember to relax and enjoy each moment
These are so pretty! My intention every.single.day is to stay positive and believe I will get pregnant. We’ve bee ttc for a while, and it’s very upsetting, frustrating, and stressful going through this process. But I wake up each day, say a prayer, and tell myself it WILL happen!
My intention everyday is to be patient and present and to enjoy the moment. I tend to try to rush through the day I need to stop and smell the flowers.
My most consistent intention for each day is to be optimistic and to smile – sometimes a simple smile to myself makes me feel so much better!
I’m not so great at setting intentions for every day. I do, however, always include in my prayer that I will be patient with my students.
My intention every day is to give my students 100% even if I’m tired, sick or sad. I find that when I put in the effort- so do they! 🙂
My intention is to share my talents to the best of my ability, and I ask for God to give me the strength throughout the day because I couldn’t do it on my own!
My everyday intention is balance. Balance in everything. In eating, in sleeping, in motherhood and in practice. Somedays I’m a rockstar, some days I’m notsomuch. But balance is my everyday intention especially around the holidays and with the introduction of our newest little dude.

I try to remind myself to slow down and be present in the moment throughout the day.
Recently I have been working on treating others the way I want to be treated. There is a great Dalai Lama quote about “when possible, be kind. It is always possible.” (Paraphrased!). That’s what I aspire to do. Usually when people are jerks, it has nothing to do with you!
My intention each day is to be more patient with my three yr old son and present with him. Sometimes I am not too patient when he has a tantrum or tries to test the boundaries too often. I need to breath and realize that he is just three and to redirect him more instead of just disciplining/ giving him a timeout.
