Fave things giveaway: Tiny Devotions
Hi! Happy almost-Friday. Hope you’re enjoying the morning! Some new stuff going around the blog: there is a “book” tab in the menu bar, I also updated my “Friends” tab (with my favorite blogs; many of you said you used it for your daily blog reading and it was MIA!) and new Livi-isms post up on the family page. Also, I wrote a post for Demos Health about the 5 things that keep people from getting fit if you’d like to check it out here!!
Now it’s time for today’s giveaway, which is something I wear every.single.day.
Tiny Devotions mala beads!! (Stacked here with two Pura Vida bracelets)
I’ve been wearing the Tiny Devotions mala beads for a few years now and love how they look and feel, but also what they stand for. They’ve been worn for thousands of years for their spiritual and healing qualities. When you wear your mala beads, you can use them to set an intention for each day or for your life in general. There are a variety of stones, materials and cords to choose from (which all mean different things!).
Today, I’m giving away a Goddess Stack ($127).
This rhodonite, lotus and garnet stack has the intention of loving your inner goddess.
Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are. This stack will help the beautiful goddess in us all shine through. The lotus promotes new beginnings and the combination of all the stones will balance you and increase your well-being. Butterflies represent transformation. They evolve from a caterpillar into a beautiful, wondrous being – much like a woman finding her inner goddess!
Garnet, Rhodonite, Lotus
One size fits all. Adjustable string fitting a 5inch-8inch wrist.

I try to remind myself every day that my actions are being closely watched by my toddler son, so I need to set a good example for him.

I’m terrible for worrying and concentrating on the past, so each day I tell myself to only take the good from yesterday and leave the bad behind me.
I am so in love with these–and all your giveaways!

My intention I set every day is to believe in myself.
I noticed that my one-year old daughter watches everything I do and has started copying our tone and gestures-I now try to be positive and calm as much as possible around her every day.
this is so nice! I’d love to have one! thanks 🙂

I try to remind myself to live in the moment more often and not think about everything that I have to do or plan on doing later on in the day.

An intention that I set for myself each day is to be present. I fail miserably, but if I set this as a goal, then I’m more likely to focus on the simple things that bring happiness each day.
Kindness is my daily mantra…for myself and the 19 preschoolers I teach. Being unkind simpy isnt an option.

Every morning I try and set the goal of being present and reflect on all the little joys we pass by. My husband says Im the worst at being present I’m always thinking of what needs to be done next. So right now I need to stop and just enjoy this.
I try to be positive every day!

Following Tiny Devotions!
I set an intention to do something small that is better than what I did the day before!
I try to be intentional about how I react to difficult situations. If I react more positively, my overall stress level is decreased, which leads to me to feeling better about my day. 🙂

I try not to project any personal stress or frustration on to others.
Being a stay at home mom, I try to make sure every day that I do something for myself – like go to the gym in the morning, knit, or read. I do my best to be a great mom for my 2 year old, but I can’t be my best if I’m mentally wore out all of time.
Every day I try to treat everyone with kindness and not judge others. Setting this kind of example for my kiddo’s is very important to me!

These are beautiful bracelets! My new intention I try to keep with me lately is to act today to create a better tomorrow – whether it’s eating well, getting my writing done so I’m not cramming & stressed before a deadline or getting an early night.
Patience. Everyday my intention is to have more patience with my kiddos, my husband, and people in general.

I want to be grateful for the simplest things every day!
I try to look for the positive things each day and appreciate them.
As I am graduating from college this month and beginning my job search, I tell my self each day to take this one day at a time! That’s a tough intention, but also so necessary!
Each day my intention is to find happiness in the activities I do. Even if it feels insignificant or small.
My positive intention for the day is to look beyond all of the stressors and be thankful for this time and period in my life.
I have a note card on my desk that says “Practice Kindness, Exude Confidence” – it’s my daily intention
I set an intention to listen to what’s body wants. I’ve needed more rest lately and I trying to honor that
I try to smile as often as possible….you never know when your smile could be what someone needed that day!
