Favorite Things Giveaway: Manduka

So excited for today’s favorite things giveaway, because it’s something I’ve been using for years, from a brand that I adore: Manduka!

I purchased my first Manduka yoga mat about 7 years ago. It was the most I’d ever spent on a mat, and my friends assured me that it would be worth it.

They don’t lie. 😉

Yoga mat 1 of 1 2

Years and years later, my Manduka mat is still my favorite, and it feels even better than the day I bought it. It’s extremely supportive and durable, especially during sweaty classes and arm balances.

Balance 1 of 1

I’m also a huge fan of their yogitoes mat towels. They’re a staple for hot yoga, wash well, and stand the test of time. The newest ones have small plastic beads on the bottoms so the towel stays exactly where you place it.

When I reached out to my friends at Manduka to see if they’d kindly hook you up with some goodies this holiday season, they surprised me with a new Eko Light mat and yogitoes towel.

I practiced yoga regularly for years, but once I hit 25 weeks of pregnancy most poses stopped feeling good. I’m totally bummed (though I know it’s temporary), and I’m sticking to a LOT of cat/cows for now.

To be honest, I dont have a favorite yoga pose because I’ve only taken a few classes here and there. However, my goal for the upcoming year is to start regularly practicing yoga and I think a nice mat would be a very good start!

  43. Corinne on December 15, 2015 at 1:26 pm

As a former dancer, I’d be lying if I didn’t say that dancer would be my all time favorite balancing pose. It just feels natural in my body 😉

  44. Allison on December 15, 2015 at 1:28 pm

    Downdog

  45. Jen G. on December 15, 2015 at 1:31 pm

Does savasana count? In all seriousness, I often have trouble meditating, but after a good yoga session, I really love how quiet my mind gets in savasana.

  46. Jennifer Lattin on December 15, 2015 at 1:31 pm

I would really like to win this! I recently joined a local Hot Yoga studio and have been wanting a yoga towel (and new mat – mine is a “cheapy”). Awesome giveaway!

  50. Emily S on December 15, 2015 at 3:15 pm

I love this giveaway! I messed up my knee last February while training for a triathlon and will be having my second knee surgery on it at the end of January. Needless to say, at this point any yoga pose is my favorite! Come April/May, I’m looking forward to everything and can’t wait for my first sun salutation!
