Hey hey hey Open-mouthed smile How’s your day been?? Mine has been crazy so far- hence the late blogging. Usually at work I can skip away to blog for a while, but today we’ve been SLAMMED!

We started off the morning with a lovely ballet booty barre class at BodyWorks studio.

FYI guys- I couldn’t find it for awhile either but it IS at Whole Foods, at least at mine it is a little tricky to find because instead of putting it with the other spaghetti it is in the Asian section.

  35. Averie (LoveVeggiesAndYoga) on February 5, 2011 at 7:15 pm

The last pic is so precious! Have fun seeing her tonight!

And being slammed at work…that’s a good thing b/c it makes the time go by faster, until you have that “omg I need to blog and get my post up” feeling…or maybe i am the only one who gets that feeling 🙂

    Grilled sweet taters? Yes please!

    🙂

That nutritional yeast looks just like real melty cheese!!

    How did you do that?

Did you mix it with some water and broil it?

  39. Ashley @ the fit academic on February 5, 2011 at 8:45 pm

Wow! Sounds like a jam-packed (but fun-filled) day!

  40. Diana on February 5, 2011 at 9:10 pm

Whew, you are just blowing everyones minds with your BB pasta…I was planning to avoid food shopping tomorrow (crazed superbowl fans, aaaaghhh!!) but shucks, I don’t know if I can wait until Monday to go get me some…

  43. Ash on February 5, 2011 at 11:54 pm

  44. Mona on February 6, 2011 at 12:44 am

I was so excited when I came across your blog! I moved to Tucson 6 months ago and got excited when I saw your blue willow post 🙂 I was wondering how you made the black bean spaghetti? It looks fantastic! Thank you!

    • Fitnessista on February 6, 2011 at 1:14 am

welcome to t-town 🙂 it’s from whole foods

  45. Erin on February 6, 2011 at 1:26 am

I am so jealous of all of the fun classes you take! I haven’t found that much variety here in Dallas:(

    • Fitnessista on February 6, 2011 at 1:27 am

that’s weird- you’d think in a big city like dallas that they’d offer a lot of classes!

  46. Gill (snaxandthecity) on February 6, 2011 at 3:24 am

i’ve heard that ballet barre classes are deceptively hard!

    Hope you enjoy seeing Viesa!

  47. Doc (The Healthy PhD) on February 6, 2011 at 11:07 am

I’ve always wanted to take one of those classes!

I have a Q on your detox – how are you dealing with cravings for things you can’t have? Do you have a mantra? Or do you just keep your ‘eye on the prize’?

    • Fitnessista on February 6, 2011 at 11:23 am

i’ve been keeping my eye on the prize for the most part, but when it’s gotten unbearable, i’ve had a little. i’ve had almond butter and some raw treats before i was supposed to… the almond butter is the one thing i miss the most!

  48. Leslie on February 6, 2011 at 3:53 pm

Ballet booty barre is such a good idea! They don’t have those classes here, but I absolutely love ballet and continue to take classes periodically (even though I’m over the hill for dancing–33 :)). It always kicks my butt. Literally. My butt is sore for days…

  49. steph a on February 6, 2011 at 6:18 pm

Yummm that black bean spaghetti looks delicious!!!!!!!!!

  50. joanna on February 6, 2011 at 9:22 pm

Do you think that was the best booty work out you have ever had?

    • Fitnessista on February 6, 2011 at 9:34 pm

ever? no. but it was definitely a good one!
