Well, the lovely people at Cisco are generously donating a Flip Mino HD to a lucky Fitnessista. They’re running a video contest right now called “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”. The grand prize winner of that contest gets $10,000 (pretty baller), if you’re interested in entering.

For your chance to win a free Flip Mino HD right here on the bloggy, all you have to do is:

Leave a comment on this post answering the question “If your TV could do anything, what would you want it to do?”

My answer:

If my TV could do anything, it would allow me to reach into the screen and borrow Giuliana Rancic’s stylish and classy wardrobe 🙂

If my TV could do anything I’d have it allow me to virtually “borrow” the wardrobe of characters from my favorite shows, like SATC. 🙂 oh yah, and have an unlimited PVR capacity – that’d be awesome.

  2. Allison on June 1, 2010 at 6:45 pm

If my tv could do anything, it would allow me to jump in and be on all of the old “I Love Lucy” shows!…try out Vitameatavegamen, make chocolates, etc! She’s my idol 🙂

  3. Kristine on June 1, 2010 at 6:45 pm

  4. Kellie on June 1, 2010 at 6:48 pm

  5. Karly (Becoming My Best Self) on June 1, 2010 at 6:54 pm

I would like to be able to, at the push of a button, jump through the TV screen and participate in what is going on during a particular show. How awesome would it be to join in on some of the different travel shows, The Price Is Right, or The Biggest Loser when you are craving a kick butt workout? 🙂 Thanks for offering this awesome contest Gina!

  6. necia on June 1, 2010 at 6:58 pm

I wish my television had an optional smellovision button. It would be most welcomed when watching food network, and cleaning/personal care commercials. But especially food network.

  7. Hanna on June 1, 2010 at 6:59 pm

If my TV could do anything it would cook me dinner every night! Better yet, Tyler Florence would cook me dinner every night during his show…
(wouldn’t be bad if he came along with the dinner either)

  8. Lana Wilson on June 1, 2010 at 7:03 pm

If I could have my TV do anything it would be do my laundry…because i HATE doing laundry!!…but more realistically I would want “smell-o-vision” because my favorite channel in the Food Network Channel

  9. Stephanie Crays on June 1, 2010 at 7:07 pm

If my T.V. could see what I see when I turn it on and feel the things that I feel after I turn it on, from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night and knowing what I need to see and hear that would be the best T.V. ever, If I was feeling blue it would make me smile, If I was hungry, It would know what I needed to go fix, to if I had no energy to having me watch a “jump up and do it attitude” show.

  10. Ben on June 1, 2010 at 7:11 pm

If my TV could do anything it would … Allow me to set alerts for when my favorite show is on, one of my favorite movies is on, or when one of my favorite actress/actor is on in a show or movie. This feature is something XM radio has for songs or artist.

  11. Ashley on June 1, 2010 at 7:13 pm

If my t.v. could do anything i would tune into the travel channel so i could travel to every destination with them and enjoy all the high dollar resorts and good food and drink 🙂

  12. Casey on June 1, 2010 at 7:13 pm

If my t.v. could do anything, I would want it give me a kick butt interval program to follow during commercials and encourgage me to get off my butt if I decided to just watch it rather than participate during the break!

  13. Jocelyn C on June 1, 2010 at 7:15 pm

If my TV could do anything…I’d want to be able to reach in and sample the recipes on Food Network! 😀

  14. Nicole on June 1, 2010 at 7:17 pm

Allow me to enter whatever TV show I want and be apart of the cast.

  15. Andrea on June 1, 2010 at 7:20 pm

If my TV could do anything, I would have a channel that would always have new episodes of all my favorite shows, so that I’d never have to sit around channel surfing and finding that there’s nothing to watch!

  16. LaRae on June 1, 2010 at 7:20 pm

If my TV could do anything, I would live in the “scandalous lives of Manhattans elite” 😉

  17. Lindsay on June 1, 2010 at 7:21 pm

  18. ashley on June 1, 2010 at 7:27 pm

I wish I could step into the TV and be in the show. So I could see all the awesome places on the travel channel and taste all the delicious food on the food network.

  19. Crystal on June 1, 2010 at 7:27 pm

If my tv could do anything, I would definitely want it to make me all the delicious and healthy meals I see on the food channel but can never re-create. I would have to avoid Paula Deen, though, but I would never have to attempt cooking again!

  20. Sarah on June 1, 2010 at 7:30 pm

If my TV could do anything it would allow curtis stone to pop out of and have dinner ready for me every night 🙂

  21. rachael on June 1, 2010 at 7:30 pm

  22. Lauren @ Reading and Running on June 1, 2010 at 7:31 pm

If I could do anything I would be a stay at home mom to a bunch of rugrats and a wife to a wonderful man! I’d also like to chair a nonprofit.

  23. Samantha on June 1, 2010 at 7:33 pm

If my TV could do anything, I would want it to be able to pull me through the TV and take me to the wonderful places you see on the travel channel. Such as the Bahamas, the Carribean, Italy, etc. That would be awesome!

  24. Jennifer Thoman on June 1, 2010 at 7:40 pm

I wish my tv offered a feature that you could pause the screen, be able to click on any item (i.e. furniture, clothes, etc.) and find out how much it cost and where you could buy the item!

  25. DeAnna on June 1, 2010 at 7:44 pm

I would like to have channels that only ran a particular show (kind of like PANDORA on the iphone) I could have an all “GLEE” channel, or an All “What Not to Wear” channel!

  26. AB on June 1, 2010 at 7:44 pm

I want a Gym TV! I want to “watch” an interactive gym that would allow me to train on all of the equipment that I don’t have at home. That would certainly solve my dilemma of fitting a treadmill, elliptical, spinning bike, weight rack, etc. into my house — not to mention my budget!

  27. Coleen on June 1, 2010 at 7:46 pm

I would like my TV to allow me to take the chefs on TV out of the tv and into my kitchen to cook for me. I love to cook but it sure would be fun to have someone else cook me a really nice meal every so often.

  28. girlinaustin on June 1, 2010 at 7:46 pm

My TV would do the following:

    1) have Jillian come and train me!
    2) Have Ellen come and chat and dance with me
    3) Have Rachael Ray cook for me.

All while giving me a massage

  29. Karen on June 1, 2010 at 7:47 pm

If my TV could do anything it would let me transport to where ever I wanted..especially when watching the travel channel!

  30. Sarah on June 1, 2010 at 7:52 pm

I’d want it to turn off when my boyfriend tries to make me watch Dog the Bounty Hunter, and I’d want it to allow me to sing and dance with the cast of Glee whenever I wanted ; )
    Thanks for the contest, Gina!

  31. Jaime on June 1, 2010 at 7:58 pm

probably i would like to be able to interact with the screen like…info about clothing, food, people etc instantly. then probably an ability to buy the items would be nice 🙂

  32. Jennifer Roberts on June 1, 2010 at 7:59 pm

If my t.v could do anything it would allow me to jump in and get a fancy makeover on one of those shows, hair, makeup clothes, the works 🙂

  33. Bianka @ Bananas for Bananas on June 1, 2010 at 8:10 pm

I would def like smell-o-vision….no better yet taste-o-vision since I am obsessed with food/travel channel YUMMMMMMMMMMM! I would also like to basically just step into my tv and be where ever Anthony Bourdain happens to because a) I love him :), b) hellooo who doesn’t want to travel the world’s most exotic locations?, c) more eating!!.

  34. Jaimie on June 1, 2010 at 8:12 pm

If my television could do anything, it would allow me to see dinner on television and make it appear in my kitchen!

  35. Lauren on June 1, 2010 at 8:13 pm

If my TV could do anything, I would want it to coach me through my treadmill runs in the morning. How cool would it be to have the characters in the TV randomly starting shouting words of encouragement to you like…”You go girl!” or “You’re amazing, keep pushing hard!”. Now that would make running on the mill enjoyable! 😉

  36. Erin on June 1, 2010 at 8:13 pm

I would love it if the DVR would automatically fast foward through the commercials and stop instantly when it gets to the show again. I am the worst at timing when to start the show again. I would also like it if you turn on the TV and see a show or movie you want to see that you could rewind it to the beginning.

  37. Jessica on June 1, 2010 at 8:17 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would let me jump in and and sing with the cast of Glee!

  38. Julie on June 1, 2010 at 8:19 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would let me sample everything on Top Chef and Top Chef Masters! It would also let me jump in and follow those people from Ghost Adventures (mainly so I can see if it’s made up or not)!

  39. Emily C. on June 1, 2010 at 8:21 pm

I may sound monotonous here, but I would love the ability to taste the food that I watch being prepared. It looks so good when someone else makes it!

  40. Denise on June 1, 2010 at 8:27 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would allow me to enter into some of my favorite TV shows just so I can hang out with the characters – ex. Glee, LOST, The Wire, Sex & The City, etc.!

  41. Laura on June 1, 2010 at 8:29 pm

I wish my TV would let me jump in and join the cast of Glee for singing and dancing!!

  45. Mary C. on June 1, 2010 at 8:36 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would take me to NYC to shop at Barney’s and sip cosmos with Carrie!!

  46. Megan @ The Oatmeal Diaries on June 1, 2010 at 8:50 pm

Good question! If my TV could do anything, it would be to make what they are cooking on Food Network! As soon as Giada started whipping up Italian food, I’d press a button and it would be there in my living room 🙂

  47. Heather on June 1, 2010 at 8:52 pm

If my TV could do anything, it would transport me directly to the stage of all the amazing concerts I watch and let me sing with each performer (COUGH Michael Buble COUGH)!

  48. Kristen on June 1, 2010 at 8:58 pm

If my tv could do anything… I would have to choose that it would provide the yummy smells and meals that I see on foodtv!

  49. Lena on June 1, 2010 at 8:59 pm

  50. MarathonVal on June 1, 2010 at 9:08 pm

Oh, so many things… it would be great if my TV would let me travel to all of the amazing places on the Travel Channel, visit wildlife on Animal Planet, eat the food on the Food Network… what fun to think about! 🙂
