Since we’re heading into fall (<— really?!), I’m sure many of us are in need of a little workout attire refresh. I’ve become a huge fan of Lorna Jane over the past couple of years, and especially love the high quality pieces, vibrant color scheme, and non-cheesy girl power message. Whenever I walk into a store, I feel inspired by the positive messaging, and love the bring colors, patterns, and functionality of everything I’ve tried.
Last summer, I attended the opening of the Active Living Room in La Jolla, and had the opportunity to meet the woman behind the brand: Lorna Jane herself! I also had the chance to hear her speak at Blogfest last year in Anaheim.
She’s someone who inspires me, and the success she’s created for herself, in conjunction with her kind, generous, and vibrant spirit, is something to be admired. I LOVE to see women crushing their business goals and dreams, and it motivates me to go after my own. Not only does Lorna Jane have a full athletic line (including beautifully-constructed clothing, accessories, and fitness gear), but she also has an inspirational website (Move Nourish Believe) and five books. The most recent is INSPIRED, which is the first coffee table book.
I’ve already read through my entire copy and can’t wait to implement some of the healthy lifestyle ideas and try the recipes within the pages. There are a lot of new DIY beauty recipes, too!

The jacket is the perfect lightweight “to and from” jacket for the gym. It’s going to be getting a lot of use as the nights get chillier. It has breathable mesh panels, and thumbholes <— my fave 🙂
The band on the shorts is thick and comfy, which has been awesome with my growing bump.
(Please ignore the crazy vein hands haha.)
During pregnancy, lightweight workout attire is even more appreciated, and this Madison Mesh tank feels like you’re wearing NOTHING. I can’t wait to test it out a sweaty Orangetheory class or some longer runs in the not-so-distant future. For now, it’s comfy and light during TRX and BODYPUMP workouts.

They have mesh detail on the outer bottom half, which really helps to stay cool and dry during sweaty workouts. (And.. mesh is super cute.) These are already a staple in my workout attire.

I am currently training for a half marathon, so as fall approaches I am need of some capris/leggings for the cooler weather…. Also, I love these for spin class! I currently rotate through my two pairs, so it is definitely a limiting factor.
