{Video post} Tummy time
We weren’t always the best at doing tummy time. You’re supposed to do it as often as possible during the day, so the baby can build up neck strength and doesn’t get a flat head from laying down all the time. Sometimes it would end up being 5pm and I’d think “Ahh! Tummy time!” and then take Livi over to her playmat to try it out. She’s had a strong neck since she was born, so she’s never screamed during tummy time or hated it, but it’s something we probably could have done more often.
Now that she flips over every time I put her down, it’s tummy time, all the time.
Here’s a snippet of the video I recorded yesterday. I’m so happy to share this so you guys can see her “in person”.. and how she steals my heart every day <3

Oh, I had to watch that 3 times. She’s the cutest baby I’ve ever seen. And the cooing! It makes the sleepless nights worth it, huh? It does go fast, so take lots of video!
seriously gina, angels are sighing right now. she is ONE of the most beautiful babies i have seen in a loooonng time and i have had the pleasure of meeting a TON of babies over the years. my mom did family daycare in our home for 20+ years. and hey i would coo and smile too if you talked to me in that voice. you have the perfect “mom” pitch…not too high, just the perfect blend of honey and saffron.
Well, everyone else said it but I don’t care. I wanna say it too. She is the sweetest! That’s way better than chocolate to fix my sweet tooth. Love babies talking!

She is absolutely gorgeous! This made me smile after a day of feeling pretty “blah” (27 weeks pregnant and feeling rather frumpy today) Thanks for brightening my day and helping me realize the “blahs” will be all worth it 🙂

My God she is adorable! This video melted my heart!! We were always bad at tummy time too…E hated it, so I avoided it until she was more mobile. She had the strongest neck though from the start regardless! This reminds me of those days…it goes so fast! Presh presh presh!!!
