Custom shoe giveaway
Hiiiii ๐ Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Is anyone else running around cooking for tomorrow? I’m determined to go to Costco at some point today just to watch the insanity. I looooove holiday hustle and bustle (โฆand we need another $5.99 pumpkin pie, K-ups and box of chia seed pouches).
Last night, I took an AMAZING spin class with some friends. I wanted to get in some cardio, and while I could easily watch Scandal on the spin bike here at home, my friend said she was going to a spin rave. It was a little later in the evening, so the Pilot would be home, so I decided to go for it.
It rocked my world.
(the instructor passed out glow sticks, necklaces and bracelets)
I’ve had a lot of fun to test out new classes in the Tucson fitness community after existing in my happy resort teaching bubble for so long. I forgot how infectious the energy can be, and the amazing camaraderie from club fitness classes. During spin, the entire group was clapping, screaming and cheering each other on. Even though it killed me in the best way possible -I may have forgotten how hard it is to spin for an hour- it went by quickly because I was having a blast. Another thing I forgot: how tough it is to get a spot for club spin classes. I got there a half hour early and was the last name on the sign up list.
Here’s the song the instructor started off with:
He played a lot of club mixes -which aren’t typically my fave but fit the theme perfectly- and I was surprised by how motivating they were. He followed an RPM style of teaching, emphasizing the beats of the music and altering our cadence with the breaks in each song. It was so much fun, and I was happy I went to check it out. There are a lot of fun fitness events coming up this weekend, so I’m excited to see which ones fit in my schedule (a two-hour Zumbathon on Saturday, a holiday yoga class, lots of awesome options to choose from).
Today, I figured that many of us are getting ready for holiday festivities, so I thought it would be a great day for a giveaway post.
Remember when Ashley designed her own pair of custom Nanos?
They came in the mail last week! Aren’t they beautiful??
Designing the shoes online is extremely easy; you just pick the colors you’d like for each component, while a live preview streams the changes as you make them. You can start with an entirely blank slate, or begin with some pre-set designs. Last time I posted about these, a few people asked me what I would have chosen for my shoe style and color combo.
Here ya go ๐
My friends at Reebok kindly offered a gift card for a lucky reader to design their own pair of custom shoes.
Here’s how to enter:
I’ll announce the winner in Sunday morning’s post!
Reebok is offering some incredible Black Friday deals, too. The Nano 2.0s are $75 (code: “NANO”), buy one apparel, get one 50% off (code: “BOGO”) and on Monday, sitewide sale 30% off.
See ya later today with the gift guide for the mamas and moms-to-be. Hope you have a wonderful morning <3
xoxo
Gina
I would choose the nanos in a black and pink combo or black and purple combo!
I would pick the Nanos in shades of blue
