I can’t believe the pom orchards. It is incredible. I’m sure it was amazing flying over them!
Now I want a Pomtini!!
You look so cute in the front seat with the headset! You are so skilled in the ways of the pilot. Love that they make pistachios.
So you are one of my favorite bloggers & I’m checking out your pics and I saw Caitlin from Healthy Tipping point and almost freaked out! Two of my favorite bloggers…Hope you’re having a great time! (:
aww thanks girl! yeah, caitlin is awesome ๐
What an awesome trip. Glad all of you lovely ladies are having a fantastic time! I love to sprinkle pomegranate seeds on salad. I’m super lazy and hate getting the seeds out so I was stoked to see that Publix sells the seeds in a container, but then I died a little when I saw that it was $6.99! Scary.
Oh no, your Pilot’s gonna be JEA-LOUS!!! ๐ OK, I feel dumb here but with pomegranates, do you eat just the seeds? I’ve never had one, just the juice. I’m almost embarassed to ask!
I love Pomillinis! Champagne with a splash of pomegranate juice and pomegranat seeds (so just like a bellini only using pomegranate instead) Yum.
looks like you are having a fab time at POM!
that salmon salad look delish!
and what is pizookie?!
jenna
do you have a bj’s near you???
if so, hit that up!
a pizookie is a pizza cookie- a cookie cooked in a deep dish pizza pan, still gooey on the inside, topped with ice cream. in other words = perfection
I love how awesomely huge the orchard is! I wanna go ๐ Pomegranates are a classic Iranian food, so I grew up around them. You can cook the seeds into rice, and add some almonds. They also go well with walnuts and chicken. In terms of desert, you can suck the juice straight from the pomegranate by making a small hole at one end. I would imagine it would make a great ice cream, but probably hard to make!
It looks so fun! And I sort of think you should be a POM spokesperson; you are so f-ing cute in these pics
Looks like a great time – great photos! Everyone looks so well too – you’re glowing ๐
I don’t know that POM makes pistachios … But the couple that owns POM also owes Fiji water and pistashio farms, citrus farms, a floral company and a bunch of other things! They were donors to an organization I used to work at– and clearly they are fab! …And are brilliant biz people, seen in part in the idea to hold this awesome blogger harvest tour!
