One Happy Dehydrator
Hi guys 😀 Looks like ya’ll wanted some yoga! I don’t blame you one bit- it’s an amazing giveaway 🙂 You have until midnight to enter and don’t forget to enter the coupon code “Fitnessista” for 30% off your YogaDownload.com purchases.
I DID have a lot of awesome pics (and macaroon porn) for ya, but I took my memory card out of the camera and have NO IDEA where I put it!! Gah! It’s going to drive me crazy.. until I buy a new one tonight and find the old one somewhere random, like in a shoe, a week later. Scatterbrained :/
So I re-took some pics via the Crackberry.
The puppers and I went on a glorious 40 minute walk this morning. We took it nice and slow (TWSS?) and admired the gorgeous spring scenery.
Does anyone know what type of tree that is? It’s PINK! And beautiful. One thing I will miss about Valdizzy: gorgeous flowered trees.
I met Jeni at the gym and did 30 minutes of abs with her –and she did cardio while I watched with jealousy and chatted with the other trainers- and then we went to get smoothies at the Main Squeeze.
I rolled with the standard Tropical Superfood smoothie with Sun Warrior and spirulina that I had in a baggie in my purse 😉
When I got back to the casa, I got down to biznazz.
One happy dehydrator:
And yes, the cacao macaroons are stuffed with raw crunchy almond butter
I know, right? 😀
A very exciting delivery came from Amazon.com today (I have a problem.. I’m open about it, though. Online shopping and I are friends):
This is one of the products that Amazon always recommends for me. After seeing that perfect booty and pair of legs for a month, I just went ahead and bought it up (just what they wanted me to do, haha). I’m about to go up to the yoga room and see if it has an awesome ab routine to do. With superclean eats and a focus on toning the next 2 weeks, maybe I’ll have a banging six-pack when it’s over? One can only dream 😉
Off to *crunch and burn* then head back to work.
xoxo,
Gina
The almond butter filled macaroons look amazing!! And I am completely addicted to online shopping. I actually posted on that a while back. I can reign it in when the husband is home, but when he’s gone I’m hopeless. 🙂
boat pose
GAAH!! I can’t get over those macaroons! They look SOOO good!!
That really is a beautiful tree! Lovin’ the macaroon porn 😉
Those macaroons look amazing!!!!
So, I’m not the biggest fan of coconut but everytime you show macaroons they look so good!!
Hope the new dvd is great!!
good job takin it easy, but its good you’ve found something to do to keep you busy and not feeling super sluggish, that will definitely help
your macaroons look phenomenallll. and you may joke but im a pilates fiend who rarely does cardio, and in the past fgew weeks ive seriously cleaned up my eating, which has had the shocking result of amazing ripped abs. i dont recognize myself! I’m all for core strengthening exercises, especially when dealing with a limb injury – you strengthen a part of your body that will really be beneficial when you begin to reincorporate other physical activity.
i hope you recover quickly!!
thank you for giving me hope 🙂
Your torturing me with those macaroon pictures!! I hear ya on the online shopping! Amazon owns me.
P.S. I think that is a Dogwood tree. 🙂
From the looks of it, that looks like a Pink Dogwood tree. Its the official tree of NC, where I’m from. They are all over the South.
they’re BEAUTIFUL!
I thought the tree was a cherry blossom. We have a zillion of them in macon and this week is actually the cherry blossom festival.
Hey!! Loving those macaroons! I hurt my hamstring training this spring and have to rest a bit as well!! Thanks for proving that listening to your body is best! Get well soon!!
I got the Core Fusion legs & buns workout . . . I’d read good reviews, but I was not impressed. It just bored me — it’s not that it’s not a good workout, just boring (to my mind, anyway).
The pink trees are Cherry Blossoms and the white trees are Bradford Pears.
I have an online shopping problem too – mostly work out clothes. I’ll order several sizes and ship back what doesn’t fit. I buy my skin care products online as well (Origins), also some t-shirts/tanks – ya, I shop online too much.
We enjoy shopping online as well 🙂 Can’t wait to see what you think of that DVD. Yay for macaroons!!!
It looks like a Cherry Blossom tree. We have a lot in the Northwest. Sometimes they are pink, white, or a hybrid of both. They are my favorites! 🙂
Awww, that pic makes me nostalgic for the Southeast (FSU is my alma mater!). I’m in cold Chicago now.
Hello there. I’m new the the whole blog world and I’ve found yours to be quite inspirational. All your recipes look delicious and it’s very commendable the amount of time you spend in the gym and your dedication to fitness and healthy living as a whole. I see that you’re always interested in reader feedback and I thought I’d submit my two cents. I am someone who struggles with losing weight and the whole process is sidelined due to the fact that I work two jobs. I read your blog for motivation to keep eating healthy while in between (sometimes very long) gym visits and I found your comment about feeling like a “lard” very offensive. It’s almost as if you’re saying that if someone doesn’t workout everyday, they should feel like a “lard.” How can you write something like that while clearly (via videos and pictures) you are not?
i just meant that in comparison to my usual lifestyle, i feel very lazy. if anyone stops a consistent amount of activity, they’re going to feel bad no matter what. that’s all i was saying, no need to be offended.
