Blogiversary giveaway: New Balance Fresh Foam Zantes
Hi friends! How are you? Can you believe the blog will be 7 years old this summer? Time flies when youโre having fun.
I never would have guessed that a little project/hobby I started while we were in Valdosta would grow and become the amazing community it is today. This little blog has brought so much joy to me (and our family) over the past 7 years, and has introduced me to lifelong friends, incredible opportunities, and to all of you! You are what make this the awesome space it is, and Iโm so grateful to you all. Since the blogโs birth, a LOT has happened.

Just to name a few of the major events:
-We had many adventures in Valdosta before moving to Tucson
-We bought our first house
-Accomplishing two huge dreams: making a fitness DVD and writing a book
-We moved to San Diego and became pregnant with baby #2
Many huge milestones have been captured here on the blog and itโs been so much fun to share them with ya. Thank you for sticking around with me for all of this time! I have a good feeling about this next year, too. ๐

Today at the gym I’ll b working on lower body workout and finish with 30 min on the elliptical- woohoo!
This morning, I did a mish-mash of cardio and strenght- 5 minute intervals on the treadmill,stairmaster and rower, with sets of 10 pushups in between each interval. Two rounds of this, and I was a sweaty monster!
Training for 1/2 marathon- so running 4 to 5 times a week and upper body weights 2xs a week!
Run, lots of spin, yoga, and weight HIIT classes!
I’m getting back into running! I took a break and focused on a 28-day workout plan that didn’t include it, but I am so glad to start again!
๐ Also, happy Blogiversary! I can’t believe it’s been 7 years-I can’t really remember when I started reading your blog, but it’s probably been 3ish. Hard to remember when I wasn’t following!
I just joined a new gym – so checking out some of the classes… so far, spin and barre.
I’m hitting up a hot power yoga class after work tonight- can’t wait to sweat out all of the bad stuff ๐

This week my focus is making sure I hit at least 10,000 steps each day! Sounds easier than it is with a job where I sit most of the day…but I’m doing pretty well by making sure to include walking breaks during work and afterwork.
Workout this week: soccer game last night (and I scored a goal! haha always fun since I play defense and don’t often have scoring opportunities)

I have to brag: I PR’d last weekend on a half marathon. This week I am giving my body some yoga love. My body sure deserves it. I would have loved to join you on your first (or any other for that matter) yoga class, but unfortunately I live too far away.
I’m trying to talk myself into a lunch run but man, it’s humid! May be treadmill season.

Wow, 7 years, Happy blogiversary! I love the week of giveaways idea and those shoes are super cute! This week I’m planning on doing some walking as my fitness routine, since I’m at the beginning of my first pregnancy ๐ and that’s all my doctor is allowing at this point for me.
