Favorite things giveaway: Count Me Healthy

12 days of giveaway fun continues! Did you enter the Fivesse giveaway? All of this week’s giveaways will end this Saturday at midnight. If you’re just joining in the fun, you’re in for a treat! These are all companies I reached out to and asked them to share some holiday cheer with you all. These giveaways are not sponsored (there is one sponsored White Plum giveaway because I wanted our last WP giveaway to be during this magical time), and many of the giveaways have multiple winners.

How about something sparkly?

I am obsessed with the Count Me Healthy bracelets! We ran a giveaway once before, and it was one of the most successful ones on the blog, ever. Not only are these bracelets gorgeous to look at and well-constructed -I’ve accidentally worn mine to work out before, and it’s not tarnished or scratched at all- but they also have a surprise hidden purpose. On the Count Me Healthy bracelets, you’ll see beads that you can move from side to side. These beads can be used to track anything you desire! They’re especially fantastic for health-related goals (workout sessions in a week, glasses of water consumed each day, produce servings per day, days abstaining from cigarettes if you’re trying to quit, etc.) but can count really anything, including breastfeeding sessions for new mamas, personal weekly goals you’ve hit, and the list goes on and on.

I love my rose gold bracelet, and Chelsea Charles, the creator of this incredible line, sent me one of her brand new bracelets from the crystal collection. The purpose is the same, but each bead is adorned with small crystals.

Count me healthy 1 of 1 2

She also kindly offered to surprise two lucky readers with their own Count Me Healthy crystal collection bracelets.

Two winners will each receive one bracelet of their choice from this collection, valued at $148 each.

Here’s how to enter:

-Leave a comment below with what you would use your bracelet to count!

Ready, set, go!

  3. Emily on December 2, 2014 at 4:07 am

I’d use it as a reminder to say a prayer of thanksgiving throughout the day. Each bead could stand for something I’m thankful for, a person I want to pray for, or a request that someone passes along.

I would count my runs each week! I am having so much trouble getting motivated since the clocks change. That’s too long without consistency!

  5. HolmesInMotion on December 2, 2014 at 4:10 am

Those bracelets are beautiful and practical. I would use it to count the times I’ve cooked at home during the week as opposed to eating out.

  6. Carly on December 2, 2014 at 4:11 am

You are like Ellen!! I loved the bracelet when you showed it earlier this year… Especially the rose gold! I would count water!

This week I would count how many of glasses of water I’m drinking. As soon as it turns cold, I stop drinking as much as I should. This would be a good reminder. Also, while working out, I often forget how many sets I’ve done of an exercise. This could be an easy way to keep track.
Finally, as a teacher I’m always counting things and trying to keep track of them. This could be useful- even if not directly fitness related.

The crystal bracelets are so beautiful! I would use one for counting my water intake. As the weather has cooled down I find it harder to stay properly hydrated. Often I don’t realize how dehydrated I am until I wake up in the middle of the night thirsty! I’d better go get a glass of water right now. 🙂

  11. Stacey W on December 2, 2014 at 4:17 am

I would use it to count water, I try and stay on top of it, but a friendly reminder would be great!

  12. Cara's Healthy Cravings on December 2, 2014 at 4:19 am

I’d use it to count quick walks at work. I just got promoted and if I’m not careful I’ll sit at my desk almost straight from 9-5. I’m trying to be mindful of taking small walk breaks!

  15. Julietteelise on December 2, 2014 at 4:22 am

These are beautiful! I would give it to my mom so she could start counting how often she runs a week. She’s been working out for years but is now interested in completing a 5k. I think this would help her a lot!

  28. Mary Beth on December 2, 2014 at 4:38 am

I would use it to count how many times I passed up a fast food restaurant. I am surrounded by them and I love french fries and chicken nuggets. It’s kind of hard to keep track of things you “don’t” do, but I think this would work!
