We get together with my extended family and spend all day making (and testing) our favourite Christmas cookies. This year it is next Sunday, I can’t wait!
My favorite holiday tradition is the big dinner we have on Christmas Eve with my aunts, uncles and cousins. We have been doing this for about 25 years now, and it is just as exciting now as it was when I was little. Family time <3
Fave holiday tradition is probably putting up the tree and decorating while listening to Christmas music and having the first cup of eggnog of the season.
My favorite holiday tradition since my husband and I got married is spending Christmas Eve snuggled up on the couch watching A Christmas Story, drinking eggnog, and eating gingerbread cookies.
watching arthur’s perfect christmas
My favorite Christmas tradition would have to be going to our church’s Christmas Eve candlelight service. It’s a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas, and I always love singing some of my favorite Christmas carols!
Christmas eve party with the whole family!
My favorite holiday tradition would have to be the big Christmas Eve party at my Grandma’s house. Everyone gets together (12 cousins + aunts and uncles, and usually some friends) and we do gifts, dinner, and read the Christmas story. The best part is always taking the annual family photo – getting 25 people to sit still is always hilarious!
Also, pre-ordered your book! Can’t wait!
Every year since we started dating, my now husband, takes me to target to buy a board game! We have amassed quite the collection and it was one of my favorite unconventional holiday traditions!
My favorite tradition is getting a new pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve!
I just preordered HIIT IT! So excited to get it in my hands ๐
One of my favorite Christmas morning traditions is to get up and go for a run – the route dictated by the holiday lights on. We usually go early – really early – before anyone else is up and the streets/roads are clear. It’s a peaceful start to the holiday morning – I love holiday lights…and when we get back, everyone is just starting to stir so we can shower and then enjoy some hot apple cider or coffee ๐
I love decorating our house and picking out the tree…seeing all the decorations makes me so happy ๐
Favorite tradition is drinking hot apple cider while looking for the best Christmas tree for our family. We just did this yesterday and it was so much more fun than in the past, getting to do it with my toddler daughter and her baby sisters. Can’t wait to keep doing this as they all get older.
My favorite holiday tradition is when my family and I go on a beach BBQ on Christmas Day to Boca Grande, just a few minutes from my parent’s house in Florida. It’s an unusual and fun way to spend the day after opening presents.
Every year my mom makes these Italian pastries called Cartellate. It’s a lot of work, so I always help out ๐
My favorite holiday tradition is opening one gift on Christmas Eve!
My favorite holiday tradition is making mulled wine at my mom’s house and helping with the crazy big Christmas dinner! I’m so excited for this year–my little brother just got out of the Marine Corps, he’s now a freshman at Arizona State and he will be home for his first Christmas since 2010!!!
My favorite holiday tradition is how myself and all my siblings still sleep together in one room on Christmas Eve at our parents house. We are all pretty old now but we still bring in air mattresses and sleeping bags and wake up together on Christmas morning :).
I also pre-ordered HIIT It! So excited!
(USPS says I should be getting my Kale Yeah shirt today too!)
My absolute favourite thing about the holidays is my family all coming together! My sister comes home for a couple of weeks and its the best thing in the world. As long as we are together that is all that matters. It really is the most magical time of year. ๐ As far as traditions go, its all about good food in my family! We make something called “Christmas Morning Wife Saver” (lol) every single year. Its an egg casserole that you prep the night before and just pop in the oven on Christmas morning ( so easy). Its incredibly warm and delicious and just hold such amazing memories from my childhood. Wishing you a holiday full of fun, family, and good food! <3
My favorite holiday tradition is definitely putting up the Christmas tree! It really feels like Christmas once the tree is up and decorated.
My favourite part is decorating the house. Seeing beloved christmas decorations after a year in boxes is so great!
I love having Christmas Eve dinner with my in-laws (after midnight mass !!) then Christmas day with my side of the family ๐
my favorite holiday tradition is lighting the candles on the menorah each night and playing dreidel, which can get a little crazy if you play it as an adult with beverages and real $ on the line!
My favorite tradition is trying to cram as many Christmases into a couple days as we can! It takes a scheduling wizard to get it all figured out, but that’s part of the tradition ๐
Christmas Eve tamales
My favorite tradition is Christmas morning at my parent’s house and enjoying my Dad’s waffles and bacon!
We go see the nutcracker ballet every year.
We get together with friends and decorate sugar cookies to take to neighbors every year ๐
our favorite involves christmas day COCKTAILS! this year we’ll be shaking up some xmas cosmo’s ๐
Favorite christmas tradition is playing games with my family on Christmas day!
I love Christmas day breakfast with the family (it’s always bagels, lox, cream cheese!) – yum!
My favorite holiday tradition is driving around to see the lights!
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree with my fiance while we have National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation playing on the TV. We’ve done it every year since we’ve been together and it’s so fun!
Cookie Decorating with the extended family!
My favorite holiday tradition is going to pick out a fresh tree and decorating it to the sound of Christmas music!
Sleep
baking cutout sugar and gingerbread cookies!
Watching Love Actually on repeat with my best friends and seeing family at holiday gatherings.
Putting our (ridiculously ugly) angel on our tree. Every year my mom and I giggle like we’ve never seen him(her?) before!
I also already pre-ordered!
On Christmas Eve, my family and I go on a short hike together before the festivities begin. It is a nice way to spend time together outdoors!
With my side of the family, our Christmas Eve tradition is a big dinner and opening gifts. It’s been fun to start creating traditions for our young daughter, too. Last year was her first trip to see the Nutcracker and she loved it — I hope to make this an annual tradition.
my favorite holiday tradition is opening stockings at my grandma’s house on christmas morning ๐
On Christmas eve we open all our gifts! I don’t know how it first started, but even the little kids know that Santa just brings them his gifts on Christmas day, but everyone else’s are on christmas eve!
My favorite Christmas tradition is enjoying all of the lights and decorations in our house.
Fave holiday tradition is traveling and celebrating a few end of the year bdays of my family members =)
Watching Elf or White Christmas!
