Favorite holiday tradition is making and eating gingerbread!
Fav tradition is new Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve followed by a Christmas movie… And then monkey bread for Christmas morning breakfast:) I already preordered but think your book would be a perfect gift to give a friend!!
One of my favorites is making treats for friends and neighbors and delivering Christmas cheer.
Making cookie & holiday treats for goody plates for the neighbors with my kids.
I can’t wait to get HIIT It! – already on pre-order. ๐ One of my favorite holiday traditions is my husband and I enjoying wine from our favorite town in Italy. We spent Christmas there 7 years ago, so we buy the wine and cook up a meal on Christmas Eve. We then go for a family walk to look at all the Christmas lights in a neighborhood next to ours.
My favorite holiday tradition is driving around looking at Christmas lights with a gingerbread latte in hand!
We always do an “adopt a kid” thing to buy presents for kids who need them…it is so much fun shopping and spending extra time to wrap them specially to brighten someone’s day.
My favorite tradition is to bundle up, pour a couple of travel mugs full of coffee or cocoa, top off with a shot of festive booze (Patron XO, bailey’s, kahlua, fireball, something of that nature) and walk around our neighborhood with our dog in tow and look at Christmas lights for a few hours. It’s good exercise for us and the dog, and our neighborhood gets super into lights so there’s always interesting things to look at!
I love spending time in the kitchen baking with family.
My favorite Christmas tradition is my Mother-in-Law’s Christmas Eve party – so much fun and laughter with friends and family!
Singing Christmas carols! And listening to Christmas music!
Woot! Just pre-ordered HIIT IT and I can’t wait for it to arrive ๐
Watching bad Hallmark Christmas movies!
Decorating the house for Christmas!
I have many favourite holiday traditions….one of the best though is Chinese food on Christmas Eve (once a year!) + many games of euchre with the family + a book exchange. A great night!
One of my favorite traditions, as a teacher, is making blankets with the kiddos for a local homeless shelter.
Having Ollie Bollen on the table each year. They are a dutch treat that my family has been making as long as I can remember.
Watching Christmas Vacation, lots of college football, lots of stuffing of faces, and just good old fashioned quality family time!
My favorite holiday tradition is going to the holiday pops!
My extended family lives all over the continent, so it’s just the five of us every Christmas. This used to be lonely, but now we’ve come to love it as a special and quiet time with just us.
My favorite holiday tradition is cutting down a real Christmas tree as a family and decorating it together (don’t worry they plant two more in its place).
I hope my husband pre-ordered HIIT for me for Christmas!! I sent him this post to have him put in his email if so. Can’t wait to get it either way!
My family bakes cookies and decorates the house together as one of our annual Christmas traditions. Also, Christmas Eve night we all go to church together.
I love watching ‘A Christmas Carol’ on Christmas Eve!
I can’t believe all these giveaways you have going! You must feel like an elf!
Growing up, my aunt would have me and my brother over to decorate gingerbread houses she made from my (deceased) uncle’s recipe. It was special to have the recipe and stencils from my uncle (her brother) and to decorate all together while listening to Christmas music.
Favorite holiday tradition is tearing up bread for stuffing the night before Thanksgiving with my mom and sister while watching White Christmas (and of course singing along to all the songs – our Sisters number is near perfected by now).
Pre-ordered my copy of the book – can’t wait to read it!
I always give my kids pajamas and a book that they open on Christmas eve.
My favorite holiday tradition is baking treats for all my co-workers and going to look at Christmas Lights!
My favorite holiday tradition is winding down in the evenings with a “Snuggler” – hot chocolate (homemade if I can) + Peppermint Schnapps. Best enjoyed whilst walking around neighborhoods admiring the lights.
I already pre-ordered the book! I’d love to have an extra to gift to a friend!
Ahh, how exciting to finally be holding your own book in print! So happy for you. ๐
One of my favorite traditions is opening Christmas pjs from my parents on Christmas Eve. They still get pjs for us, even though 3 of the 4 of us are adults…kind of silly, but still fun!
My favorite holiday tradition is baking our secret family sugar cookie recipe with my grandma, mom, and aunt and then decorating for hours on end!
Christmas cookies are my favorite holiday tradition! And generally just listening to Christmas music. It’s so happy.
My favorite tradition is taking out all of our childhood ornaments to decorate the tree. My mom made so many of them so they hold a very special place in my heart. ๐
My favorite tradition: My siblings and I are all grown (okay 17-29) but we still all wake up early and get our stocking on Christmas morning and go obnoxiously wake up my parents!
I love decorating the house and tree with my husband and kids.
One of my favorite traditions is driving around the snow covered city on Christmas Eve to look at the lights. ๐
My fave holiday tradition is making spritz cookies – dyed green in the shape of Christmas trees. I made them this weekend to celebrate decorating our tree!
Making new traditions this year with my newborn daughter!
Favorite Holiday tradition is definitely just relaxing with my family on Christmas Day and we always see a movie! Simple and lovely.
My favorite holiday tradition is my mom and I carving out a little time, just the two of us to have a lunch. It’s a special break in the craziness of the holidays!
Favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree while watching a Christmas movie!

So many things to enjoy about the holidays that it’s hard to pick one thing! And Matt and I are working on creating OUR traditions which is really fun. Overall, I just love spending time with family, sitting around the kitchen table, laughing, drinking coffee and eating my mom’s homemade butter cookies (a many generations old recipe!)
One of My favorite things every year is just getting together with my family which always includes eating too much and lots of laughter. : )
Christmas is always different these days with our family growing (I just got married!) and trying to navigate new transitions and seasons. BUT I just love family time, especially sitting around the table eating a good meal and being thankful for each other. I don’t need anything else!
Hot Cocoa with marshmallows, of course!
My favorite holiday tradition is pretty cliche: decorating the tree with my hubby, while listening to Christmas music and drinking merlot
Decorating the house and making my mom’s Christmas toffee squares cookies while listening to Christmas with the Cambridge Singers cd
