I’ve been ordering from Sue at Somethin’ Special for the past few years. A kind blog reader turned me onto her when I expressed that I was looking for more natural body products, and I’ve never gone back. It’s pretty much the only fragrance I wear now (Sweet Petals, which smells like my favorite LUSH Rose bath bomb), especially since her products smell beautiful, are cruelty-free, and devoid of any funky ingredients. They’re also extremely reasonably-priced and she has fantastic customer service.

Sue makes an incredible variety of products: body butters, home fragrance (I’m a huge fan of using the wax melts in my Scentsy warmers), fragrance oils (my fave!!!), sugar scrubs, hair care, massage oil, etc. Her products would also make fantastic gifts for those you love (and yourself!) this holiday season.     My grandmother just gave me a Jo Malone bottle of nectarine blossom and honey. It smells heavenly!

    I like dark scents that are a mix of feminine and masculine – sandalwood, vanilla, etc. Right now I love Elizabeth and James’ Nirvana Black.

    I love scents that have a citrusy freshness too it with jasmine undertones so I love Miss Dior but am looking for something new (and a little more natural).

    I tend to like the sents that have a citrus tone to them and light floral also.
