Hi friends! How about another Favorite Things giveaway??

Fitnessista GiveawaysPNG

During the holiday season, I’m even more grateful for the delicious treats that also happen to be healthy. It’s nice to get a little bit of nutrients in between the sugar avalanche. 🙂

Suja fairy 1 of 1

I’ve been a huge fan of Suja’s cold-pressed juices for the past couple of years. They’re one of my favorite ways to get a healthy energy boost on the go, and they have so many amazing flavors. I love the 12 Essentials when I’m lacking in greens, and my all-time favorite is Glow: a refreshing green juice with a pop of mint.

Glow

I take a Suja with me when I know we’ll be out and about for a while, and want something delicious and nutrient-dense to drink.

I stay healthy during the holidays by making sure to have a protein-filled snack before any party or gathering where I know there will just be a bunch of alcohol and junk food.

  2. Jill on December 9, 2015 at 9:49 am

I’m always hesitant to spend money on juice b/c it can be expensive and I never know if I’m going to like it, so this is a great way to try some juices!

  3. Sarah on December 9, 2015 at 9:52 am

I have always wanted to try their juices.

  4. Sam on December 9, 2015 at 9:59 am

I try to focus on not overeating at holiday gatherings. It can be really difficult since there’s so much good food but I’ve found it’s the easiest way to not pack on the pounds!

  5. Danielle on December 9, 2015 at 9:59 am

I would love to try this brand! it looks like there are some delicious flavors.

  6. Julie on December 9, 2015 at 10:02 am

I try to be really mindful of eating healthy & getting lots of exercise during the week so when the wknd (& holiday parties) rolls around I can indulge without guilt. Inevitably there are usually a few extra lbs to contend w/ come Jan. 1, but I have to remind myself that it’s nbd to get rid of them & try not to obsess about it.

We stay healthy by adding more fruits and veggies to our meals. We also try to limit the amount of snacking…only eating something that is truly “worth it”.

  10. Maggie A on December 9, 2015 at 10:10 am

I try to keep balance. I’m still going to have extra cookies– but I’ll try to up my intake of veggies so I still get the nutrients!

I find it very hard to stay healthy during the holidays – only because I work three jobs at Christmas so I don’t have a whole lot of free time! The best thing I can do though is make time for meal prep and keep healthy snacks with me. Nothing makes me crabbier than eating at the mall every day. It’s good for my sanity and my health! lol

  17. ErikaMC on December 9, 2015 at 10:59 am

I increase my vitamin C during the winter months and add in extra fluids. One of my favorite winter activities is snowshoeing and it’s a great way to stay in shape while bundled up.

I try to only have treats I know I won’t see again for a while – homemade stuff, seasonal only foods. I try to avoid store bought cookies/cake that I can get anytime.

  26. Meghan on December 9, 2015 at 11:44 am

I try and get workouts in 3x a week and chasing after my little one keeps me active as well!

  27. nicole on December 9, 2015 at 11:48 am

I always make sure to squeeze in as much physical activity as possible! Bring healthy apps to parties, and stick to light drinks like champagne. Eat your solo meals as healthy as possible so you can indulge a little while at social gatherings 😉

  28. Kelsey on December 9, 2015 at 11:53 am

I always try to stay on top of my hydration, since that is usually what goes first!

  40. china on December 9, 2015 at 1:31 pm

This year to try and stay healthy and motivate this holiday season I bought a Fitbit HR and joined Classpass. Best decisions EVER! The Fitbit is such a awesome motivator to get up from my cube at work and take a quick walk, make sure I am also getting enough sleep, water, and movement in. And Classpass is just amazing. I am loving trying out new classes and studios. It’s really helped make working out this time of year fun and something to get excited about scheduling into my busy week.

  41. may on December 9, 2015 at 1:36 pm

I try to stay healthy by eating salads for lunch to get in as many vegetables in the day.
