Get Yo Warrior On

Hi guys! Happy Monday! How’s your morning going??

I started mine off with a mixed berry smoothie:

smoothie

-1 C almond milk

-1 scoop Sun Warrior

-1 C frozen mixed organic berries

-1 T raw cacao powder

-1/2 T maca

-1/2 banana

All blended up in the Vita-mixalicious 🙂

Today is a very special day because we’re having a ridiculous Sun Warrior Group Shop.

sun warrior

We’re been working on getting this promo together for you guys for quite a while, and I’m so excited to share the deets with y’all:

10 people need to sign up to buy in order the deal to be on (you won’t be charged until 10 people sign up)

After 10 people sign up to buy, the Sun Warrior will be $35 !!!!! Not even joking. I almost cried tears of happiness when they told me the price because I pay $50 on Amazon and go through this stuff quite frequently. It’s an incredible protein powder and a great chance to give it a try because of the lower price, or stock up if you’re obsessed like me 😉

To rewind to last night, I dined with Jeni and her pilot at the Indian place. They’re so kind to let me be the third wheel sometimes 😉

Buffet:

Roti:

Perfection.

After dinner, Jeni and I went to see Get Him to The Greek. It was pretty hilarious 😀 On the crude side, but a good movie if you don’t want to think about an intense plot and laugh it up.

Well I’m off to pump some crazy iron and then run errands.

Have a wonderful day <3

Gina

Something to talk about: During the movie last night, they played “Come On Eileen” which is by far, my favorite 80s song of all time. What’s your favorite 80s song?? 😀

  23. Sandra on June 28, 2010 at 10:03 am

My fav 80’s song is def Take Me Home Tonight by Eddie Money. A friend and I once got an entire club screaming it at the top of their lungs!

Thanks for putting together this great deal. I am very excited to try this. I am lactose intolerant and have just stopped using protein powder since I am not the best label reader and didn’t want to accidently ingest any. I ordered some and cannot wait for it to get here!

My favorite 80s song is Aha’s Take On Me.

  37. Christy on June 28, 2010 at 12:03 pm

  41. A Teenage Gourmet on June 28, 2010 at 12:56 pm

Is “Shake your Booty” an ’80s song? I used to sing that when I was little. I thought I was so cute. 🙂

  43. Danielle (Runs on Green) on June 28, 2010 at 1:35 pm

I love that song! I’m a fan on rock from the 80s (Pour Some Sugar on Me? 😉 )

Ahhh I’m debating the Sun Warrior

  44. Ellen@FirednFabulous on June 28, 2010 at 1:57 pm

Ohh I’ve been wanting to see that movie! I actually saw Karate Kid last night and REALLY liked it. Not nearly as cheesy as I thought it would be and had a good message with great action!

I love 80s movies, but not really music. I’m more of a 90s music gal…ohh, but I think “Like a Prayer” came out in the late 80s! Gotta love that one 🙂

  45. Lauren @ BIOCHEMISTA on June 28, 2010 at 2:12 pm

I just bought TWO kinds of SunWarrior! Thanks for the awesome promo!!! You rock girl!!! 🙂 XOXOX

  46. Paige (Running Around Normal) on June 28, 2010 at 2:13 pm

I loove 80’s songs! I like the 70’s too though. And really anything Bon Jovi LOL
    Great promo!

  47. Renae on June 28, 2010 at 2:29 pm

That is an incredible deal! I’m going to go buy some right now. I’ve been trying to choose what kind of protein powder to put in my a.m. smoothies and this deal just made that decision for me! Do you think it changes the consistency of your smoothies? I’ve noticed that when I put ground flax in, it makes the smoothie a very strange thick consistency.

    • Fitnessista on June 28, 2010 at 2:36 pm

nope, it will make it thicker but has a very smooth texture. flax is gelatinous, which is why it will give foods a more slimy egg-like texture

  48. Mari B on June 28, 2010 at 2:59 pm

Hit Me with Your Best Shot is mine too! Since I was 5 years old that was my favorite… ya I was 5 in 1980! Pat Benetar, neon colors, crimped hair – so totally rad 🙂

  49. Mo on June 28, 2010 at 3:46 pm

Ok, favorite 80’s tune . . . Fantasy, by Aldo Nova.

  50. Erin on June 28, 2010 at 3:46 pm

about the same price as amazon after shipping…. but want to try it…wish it was just a tad cheaper…. :/
