Congrats!!!! 🙂 I have two little boys and they are such a blast! 🙂 There is just something so special about a mommy/son relationship! So happy for you and the Pilot!
yayaya…i was right! I KNEW IT!!! you were carrying high and out in front like me and all of my friends all carrying boys! yayayaya!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Hi there. Someone on Myfitnesspal recommended I read your blog because last week, I found out I’m pregnant as well! I’m freaking out but reading your blog really calmed me down. I wish I was as toned as you when I got pregnant but unfortunately, I was still in the process of losing my last 20lbs when I found out. I am actually terrified of gaining weight now…I’m still eating the same amount of food as before I found out I was pregnant and my weight looks like it’s fluctuating between 3 – 5lbs gain…I am panicking a bit…I’m still waiting for my first doc appt but until then, should I continue my cardio (running and spinning) or should I just do these long walks? Sorry to pick your brain, I have no pregnant or mama friends so I have no one to go to except Google! Tiffany
hey tiffany! congrats!!! and thank you so much for checking out my little blog 🙂
whatever you were doing when you got pregnant, you can continue to do but use your body as a guide. if it feels weird or wrong, don’t do it. long walks are a great way to go, but if your body is used to running and spinning, you can keep doing that as long as it continues to feel good. just make sure to keep hydrated, not to overheat, and that you can speak in complete sentences while working out to make sure you’re not overdoing it.
don’t be afraid of gaining weight. i was a little at first but realized it’s going to happen no matter what! the best you can do is stay healthy, active and well-fueled for you and your baby 🙂
xoxo
Thank you for your reply! I’m definitely happy to have found your blog. I started jogging again and it did actually cure the nausea! Thank you very much for your support! Hope we both have a wonderful and healthy pregnancy!
Haha, Congrats!! I would have lost my bet if I had made one. I don’t know why, I had you with a little girl. Maybe it’s the pink on the blog 🙂
Good thing is with all the brothers you have, you have plenty of first-hand experience with boys, I’m sure that will come in handy in time! It has to be exciting to think “my son” now, rather than “the baby”. This is very cool 🙂
I loved your mom’s comment on the previous post, by the way. She cracked me up! Your little guy is a lucky one, he has an awesome family to belong to!
Woo Hoo!!! Congratulations on your little baby boy on the way!!! I love the creative gender reveal cupcakes and how close you are with your family! It is very endearing 🙂
Yay! Congrats Gina and the Pilot! I’m so excited for you! My eyes teared up when I saw you were having a boy because it took me back to the day I found out we were having a little boy. Seems like forever ago, but it’s only been 3 years. Mommy’s and their boys have a very special bond, Gina. I can’t wait for you to experience it for yourself. 🙂
I love that you went out & bought some boy clothes! That’s exactly what I did after leaving my ultrasound (12 yrs ago!) – although my purchases were for a girl. 🙂 Congrats! Such a thrilling time in your life.
omg I just got chills over how adorable this is. Why didn’t I put two and two together when you said you were waiting to show us what was inside the cupcakes? Toooo cute. Congrats! You are going to be such a great mommy!
Whoa… this just threw me off bigtime since I’ve seen snippets of your more recent posts. I kind of feel like I’m reading a book that I just caught the end of in a movie. Now I’m really curious!!
