Maranatha was so kind to send me some almond butter to *review* on the blog, even though we all know how much I love it. I love all almond butter- I don’t discriminate 😉 They also sent sunflower seed butter and Dark Chocolate Peanut spread (which looks like frosting, which is ok with me) 😀

On a grilled banana and almond butter sandwich!!!! YUM!!!
My fave use for almond butter is smeared on an apple or a nanner or with some carrots or on ANYTHING! So good.
Homemade almond butter cookies! Though I love it on pancakes, in breakfast cookies :), on top of banana soft serve…ah, the list goes on and on!

HOLY COW. Yum. I’m a big, big fan of a almond butter with Mountain Company’s Fig Pizaazz jam on good bread…preferably Great Harvest whole wheat, untoasted. It’s like heaven. I’m drooling now.
Of course the alternative (which ain’t too shabby, either) is a spoonful right when I get up, when I’m hungry for breakfast but not awake enough to prepare anything other than tea yet.
Straight out of a jar…or on an apple…or in overnight oats…or in a smoothie…and always, in my belly! 🙂
By the way, I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough LaraBars from their website (a whole case) and they were so amazing that I called my husband at work to tell him about it! LOL. You will LOVE them!
In my smoothies…on toast…on apples…I’ve been wanting to try the dark chocolate for FOREVER!
I love to put honey almond butter on top of my smoothie with a little Fiber one for crunch. Yummmy!
The BEST method to eat AB or PB:
1. Slowly open jar, mindfully resist drooling all over yourself
2. For the inexperienced: quickly wipe off drool with handy napkin
3. Place jar top to the side; meditate if needed to stop yourself from dumping contents on your face (…no…um..I’ve never…um…actually done that…)
4. Take your pointer finger and invert it into a hook-like form as you slowly insert it into the jar…(a spoon is an alternative…but results may vary)
5. Scooooooooo0000ooooooop
6. Quiet your wimpers of joy, and enjoy a deeee-lishhh-UUUUSSSS AB/PB finger!
7. Rinse & repeat

besides straight out of the jar, my favorite way to eat AB is with a whole wheat tortilla and bannana….the PERFECT snack : D
I also love it on a spoon, or using it to add a little nuttiness to my green monster in the morning! Or on a cold banana. Or… 🙂
My favorite way to eat almond butter is drizzled on Greek yogurt and cherries!
I love to add almond butter to any baked good, especially no bake oatmeal cookies, it really adds an added flavor! But then again, I can eat almond butter on almost anything 🙂

My favorite way to eat it is with a perfectly-ripe-yellow banana. Almond butter has completely replaced peanut butter in this house!

Oh my gosh! Pleaseeeee! Maranatha is my FAVORITE brand of peanut butter. I’ve never had their almond butter or sunflower butter before though. 😀 I hope I win!
Ahh, I got so excited that I forgot to tell you my favorite use – that would be on carrots or bananas. 🙂
I use almond butter to make brown rice pudding. I add it when its almost done for added richness and color. Its the best dessert! Its kid friendly product and is the best snack for my mid afternoon slump. I add it to my morrocan chicken and veggie curries. It tastes really good in my thai seafood curries. I use it a lot in baking for the indian festival diwali- festival of lights. I bake a lot of sweet treats as a peanut butter substitute.A little goes a long way with almond butter when you counting calories.

Almond butter on a banana
My favorite use is… I don’t have one!! I am a noob and have never actually tried almond butter before. Eat plenty of almonds and drink plenty of almond milk if that counts! Thus, I would love to win! 😉

I’m new to the Almond Butter craze and I actually just found this brand at Walmart. So far I have put it in my overnight oats.. so good!
With an apple slice or with chocolate chips dropped in 🙂 Or on an english muffin!

oh YUM! I love to use almond butter in a wrap with a whole-wheat tortilla, Smucker’s all fruit raspberry jam, and a sliced banana. I took one of those babies to school every day through my senior year!
On Ezekial bread when I am in California and on warm Bolillos when I am living in Mexico. I always bring some Almond Butter along in my luggage.

My favorite use for AB is melted on top of a hot bowl of oatmeal. Maranatha no-stir is actually my favorite one to use!
I love mixing mine in with oatmeal and granola. It keeps away the temptation to just stir in some nutella!
Besides putting it in my oatmeal like everyone else does, I love adding it to smoothies. I always blend up some watermelon to use as my smoothies “liquid” so when the smoothie is pure blended fruit you can really taste the almond butter!

I always put almond butter in my homemade granola bars. First because it tastes great and second because of the health benefits.
