Chia Winner, Edward and Dinner

Hi everyone! Hope your Friday has been wonderful so far 😀

I’m thinking the pilot knew I needed some roses 😉

roses

I got home last night, a little tired from the week, and they were there on the counter. He still makes my heart flutter… and I’m a cheeseball 😉

Bfast this morning was a bowl of fruit:

a omelet with salad:

and a side of blog drama which I’m happy to say was taken care of. Blog was being plagiarized heavily –thank you to you guys for letting me know when this is happening!- and was deleted. Followed by dessert of a mean comment, which is funny because I had been telling my blog friends that’s been forever since I’ve gotten a rude comment. Guess it was time — It’s been quite a day, let me tell ya 😉

So since I couldn’t have real Bailey’s (it was only 10 AM at this time, and even though it is a Friday, I restrained), I had some in chocolate form:

It only took one for the sanity to come back 😉

Then I met Jeni at the gym for back and biceps:

Elliptical 5 minutes Crossramp 10, Level 5
Hammer curls 8 lbs each 3 sets of 12
V-rope pullback 80 lbs 3 sets of 12
Seated row 50 lbs 3 sets of 12
Prone jacks body weight 3 sets of 30 seconds
Bicep curls 8 lbs each 3 sets of 10
Elliptical 25 minutes Crossramp 10, level 5
Total time: 1 hr

Lunch was pretty glorious.

raw sandwich

Raw onion bread with wilted spinach and grape tomatoes (put in the dehydrator with balsamic, sea salt and pepper). Pretty face rockin’.

Along with some women’s health tea, which tastes like grass. That means it’s extra healthy, right? 😉

I cleaned the casa, trained a super cute pregnant lady with back issues (a little challenging but a lot of fun), then came back to pick the winner of the chia giveaway!

You asked for it 😉

Well I’m off to do some yoga.. or roll around on my foam roller for 30 minutes… then getting ready to see New Moon (again!) and catch dinner with the girls before we head to the squadron to give drunken pilots rides home. (It’s a “roll call” night which means all the guys stay after work and drink like fish.)

Have a wonderful night!

xoxo,

Gina

Today’s tip: Freeze extra ripe bananas in ziploc bags—just peel them, cut them in half and throw 2 halves into each baggie and into the freezer. They’re perfect to use for smoothies! The substance is thicker and extra cold without watering it down with ice.

PS For those of you who asked how to make hogcorn in the last post: I honestly don’t know how! The pilots make it in the squadron bar every day- they have a popcorn maker. Maybe I could ask the pilot to do a guest post???

I feel kind of weird asking this, but I’m a newbie to yoga and have no idea what a foam roller is–what exactly do you do with it? Is it worth buying?

I can’t believe some of the crazy people you attract. The girl who was pretending to be you–what the hell? And as for the eating disorder girl-I think some people need to realize that just because someone pays attention to nutrition doesn’t mean they have a problem.

Have fun seeing New Moon! I still haven’t even seen it once, haha, but I plan to if only to drool over Jacob & Edward 😉

Hogcorn sounds amazing. I was just thinking yesterday that my popcorn maker was a big waste of money. Definitely think a guest post from the pilot could change this!

Sorry to hear your blog was being ripped off 🙁 Some people seem to think that anything on the internet is free. I was trying to explain that this is not the case to someone at work the other day, who was trying to convince me that ‘images that come up on Google images are for everyone. Anyway can use them.’ Oh dear. Glad you got it sorted though 🙂

Dear god you’ve had some drama, girl. Sooo sorry. Mean comments come in streaks for me. It seems they hit all at once and makes me question my ahem…volunteer work, that is the blog 🙂 But then all the nice comments and a vent sesh to friends helps. I cant believe someone hacked your blog on top of it all toooo….OMG hang in there!

    Hope your weekend is RELAXING!

That was sweet of The Pilot to bring you roses. Now you need your Indian feast and you’ll be set.

Awe, how nice of the pilot. What a morning! Sorry for all the undeserved drama. Don’t let the haters get you down – you are awesome, Gina!

Good luck with the drunken pilots tonight 🙂

I’m really really really sorry. I totally did not mean to hurt your feelings, i think too much came out at once and in the wrong way, its just i’ve dealt with that kind of eating problem and i think i just got a little crazy. I’m very sorry if I hurt your feelings and I hope you can accept my apology.

I love the Christmas “shrub”. It’s so cute! And I wanted to mention, concerning the Bailey’s, “It’s 5:00 somewhere, right?” Hahaha. At least it’s not a shot of tequila 😉

Sorry to hear about your blog issues. That sucks!

Beautiful roses. That man knows how to keep his wife a happy woman!! 😀

I’m sorry you had to deal with that. People can be so incredibly rude, it’s sad. But it sounds like things got better with chocolate and flowers from your hubby 🙂

I totally concur on the frozen bananas! I’m making some soft serve tonight!!
