Erin: Sexy September Abs

Hi guys! We’re enjoying a vacation right now, but I have some fun things planned for the blog in the meantime! The first post is courtesy of the fabulous Erin Motz: a laid-back, wise, and brilliantly witty yogini. She has some awesome Bad Yogi shirts that she designed (but didn’t shout out in her post so I thought I’d mention!). You can check them out here! She also created a killer yoga ab video, just for today’s guest post. It’s burns so good 🙂 Hope you are enjoying the week and I’ll see you soon 🙂 xoxo G

Hi everyone! If we didn’t already meet a few months ago, let me to introduce myself… I’m a writing, cheese eating, wine drinking bad yogi and I teach vinyasa flow in Tampa Bay. I believe that yoga should be accessible and fun and that’s exactly what I aim to deliver in all my classes. Today’s post is inspired by my spunky group of power yogis who like things a little more on the challenging side… My power classes are full of arm balance and inversion practicing and always have some good strong core work thrown in for good measure. Say what?! Core work? It’s true – even in yoga, it’s important to keep the core strong, so today’s post is all about those abs!

This little video will only take you 10 minutes – but don’t let the shortened time fool ya! It’s a doozy, so prepare to sweat!

How’d you like it?! Let me know in the comments below! Be sure to find me on Facebook and sign up for a free full class video that you can get sent straight to your inbox! Thanks again for having me, Gina! 😉

Erin, I actually randomly started doing your 30 day yoga challenge last week, and I am loving it! The core work is no joke! Such a coincidence!

AH I absolutely love the One Bad Yogi tank and love the idea behind it. Why doesn’t Open Sky ship outside the US?:(

To tell the truth, I usually do harder exercises to train my abs, but since I like trying new methods I gave a try for this workout. I enjoyed it very much and it trained my muscles. In addition, it helped me to calm down after a hard day. Thanks for sharing!
