Fave cold weather gear + a giveaway- ENDED
Welcome to Tucson, winter.
I have to say, I was a little bit excited when I pulled out my beloved purple Scuba hoodie this morning.
It felt so weird to easily zip it, instead of awkwardly trying to zip it over a large pregnant belly like last year, even though I do kinda miss the belly. I love the soft fabric, the cozy hood and the thumbholes, of course. While it never gets cold enough to warrant working out in a sweatshirt out here, it’s definitely one of my favorite cold weather pieces.
Also on the list: my new arm sleeves that I bought for the race a few weeks ago.
It’s a perfect way to keep warm, without having to commit to a long-sleeved shirt. You get too hot, you take the sleeves off and, in my case, stuff them in your shirt to give you some crazy-looking bumps.
I also love running tights, ear warming headbands and mittens when it’s time for outdoor workouts in the cold. As much as I love all of the extras, hoodies will always be my favorite! I adore so many different styles and brands.

Great giveaway!!I Love love LOVE Hoodies. During the winter season I run in them when I run outside. So I like the feature that it has the thumb wholes. Only have one other hoodie that has thumb wholes and its my fav at the moment.

When I went to NZ I went running (yep not like me at all) in the morning when it was freezing! To combat the cold and the soon-to-heat I experienced I wore tights, gloves, beanie (kept messy hair out of face), a sports bra and a jumper. Then I rolled the sleeves up as I got hotter and put the gloves in my pocket.
Favorite winter work out is running outside at the beach, its cold and no many people are there but it is beautiful. Also hot yoga, going into a steamy room after walking through the cold is amazing.
