Welcome to Tucson, winter.
I have to say, I was a little bit excited when I pulled out my beloved purple Scuba hoodie this morning.
It felt so weird to easily zip it, instead of awkwardly trying to zip it over a large pregnant belly like last year, even though I do kinda miss the belly. I love the soft fabric, the cozy hood and the thumbholes, of course. While it never gets cold enough to warrant working out in a sweatshirt out here, it’s definitely one of my favorite cold weather pieces.
Also on the list: my new arm sleeves that I bought for the race a few weeks ago.
It’s a perfect way to keep warm, without having to commit to a long-sleeved shirt. You get too hot, you take the sleeves off and, in my case, stuff them in your shirt to give you some crazy-looking bumps.
I also love running tights, ear warming headbands and mittens when it’s time for outdoor workouts in the cold. As much as I love all of the extras, hoodies will always be my favorite! I adore so many different styles and brands.

Since it is warm here and not as hot as earlier this year, I love to do my HIIT outside at the park while my kids play. Love the Winters here in Florida, we are new here we just did a PCS move here !
I enjoy cross-country skiing, though it sometimes aggravates my cold-induced asthma.
I’m in Florida so my favorite workout is running. It’s so nice to run in cool weather.

I have been doing your tabata and hiit workouts indoors. The jump rope one is tough but i like it. I also run or walk on the dreadmill.
I’m in Atlanta and I LOVE running outside in winter since it’s so hot and humid here in the summer.
I get my runner’s high in the winter. There’s something empowering about bundling up and killing 7 miles or however many, while cars drive past, envious I’m sure of how the weather can’t stop me. ๐

I love going for a run in the winter – once i get over the initial cold, it really is invigorating.
My favorite winter workout is running… Outside (and I’m in PA). I never used to like it but after having trained for an early spring marathon, I discovered that my body actually responds better to cold weather! I ran better and, afterwards, I didn’t feel as spent as I do in hot weather. Plus, it feels so good afterwards knowing that you were able to beat the elements and get a great workout in!
I love doing yoga during the wintertime. Actually I just love doing yoga! In all seasons ๐

Lately, my favorite winter workouts have been lifting weights with some tabata intervals. Short and sweet!

I really enjoy doing Zumba during the winter season. It doesn’t feel like a workout it is just fun to dance for an hour.

I love winter running. I live in Canada so it gets quite cold here in the winter and I’m determined to keep up my runs. Cozy clothes are essential for those early morning runs when it’s the coldest.

I still love to run outside in the winter even when its well below freezing, I love getting bundled up and inhaling cold air! It feels so good when you’re done!

During the warmer months I try to get outside for my workouts so during the winter is time to hit the gym. My fav winter workout is anything I can do inside while staying warm so that usually means cardio machines and weights or a home workout program.

My favorite winter workouts are the fitness classes that I attend. From turbokick to pi-yo. I get to work up a sweat (or stretch) without freezing outside!
