Fave cold weather gear + a giveaway- ENDED
Welcome to Tucson, winter.
I have to say, I was a little bit excited when I pulled out my beloved purple Scuba hoodie this morning.
It felt so weird to easily zip it, instead of awkwardly trying to zip it over a large pregnant belly like last year, even though I do kinda miss the belly. I love the soft fabric, the cozy hood and the thumbholes, of course. While it never gets cold enough to warrant working out in a sweatshirt out here, it’s definitely one of my favorite cold weather pieces.
Also on the list: my new arm sleeves that I bought for the race a few weeks ago.
It’s a perfect way to keep warm, without having to commit to a long-sleeved shirt. You get too hot, you take the sleeves off and, in my case, stuff them in your shirt to give you some crazy-looking bumps.
I also love running tights, ear warming headbands and mittens when it’s time for outdoor workouts in the cold. As much as I love all of the extras, hoodies will always be my favorite! I adore so many different styles and brands.

My favorite winter workout? Treadmill inside my gym! It is too cold and I am too klutzy to run outdoors in winter. Slipping on ice and snow is not fun. LOVE the jacket! So cute!

My favorite winter workout is yoga, especially if it’s heated! I’m always cold in the freezing, super snowy winter here in Vermont and yoga is the perfect way to warm up and get my body moving!

My fave workout is going cross-country skiing with my husband and father. It gets really cold in montreal, Canada o I have to but little warmers in my gloves and boots but its so fun and satisfying! There’s nothing better than going for a long run with my labrador retriever pup when it is -30 outside. My body is still getting accustomed to the cold winters but it feels so great to breathe in ice cold air while running my usual route.

My favorite winter workout would have to be circuit workouts. I find that my workout motivation likes to take a vacation during the colder months, because all I want to do is stay nice and cozy inside, so circuit workouts are a necessity to keep things interesting!

My favorite winter workout is incline work on the treadmill – backwards, forwards, to the side, you name it! By 9 minutes, I’m sweaty! And by the end of cardio, I feel like I’ve really accomplished something – a great, motivating way to start my day!
