Favorite things giveaway: Juil flats

These are the flats I’ve been living in this fall.
If you’re not familiar with the Juil brand, they specialize in grounding shoes. The concept of grounding (also called earthing), involves the benefits we receive from close proximity to the earth’s surface. You may notice that you feel different when you walk barefoot on the earth, as opposed to strapped into the thick shoes and walking on cement. Through copper points in these shoes, the free radicals (which cause inflammation in the boxy) can be neutralized and released through the earth. I always feel more energized and light on my feet when I’m wearing grounding shoes.
Grounding shoes have not always been the most fashion forward, but Juil has dramatically changed that. Their shoes are absolutely gorgeous, well-constructed with leather, and feel like a DREAM.

I work in an office so my energizing activity is taking the long way to the bathroom. The few minutes of walking definitely helps!

I find that drinking lots of water and getting fresh air in the afternoon help keep me going during the day
taking a walk outdoors really energizes me back up!
To get some energy during the workday I like to dip into the bathroom for a minute, throw on a catchy tune (Think “Uptown Funk”), do a few air squats while lip syncing. Instant good mood.

Drinking lots of water keeps me energized throughout the day! I recently gave up coffee and I have no idea how I’ve been able to do it, but I think water helps.
Workouts energize me. If I miss one its time for coffee!

I love a good morning workout followed by a cup of coffee and a banana!
