Favorite things giveaway: Juil flats

These are the flats Iโve been living in this fall.
If youโre not familiar with the Juil brand, they specialize in grounding shoes. The concept of grounding (also called earthing), involves the benefits we receive from close proximity to the earthโs surface. You may notice that you feel different when you walk barefoot on the earth, as opposed to strapped into the thick shoes and walking on cement. Through copper points in these shoes, the free radicals (which cause inflammation in the boxy) can be neutralized and released through the earth. I always feel more energized and light on my feet when Iโm wearing grounding shoes.
Grounding shoes have not always been the most fashion forward, but Juil has dramatically changed that. Their shoes are absolutely gorgeous, well-constructed with leather, and feel like a DREAM.

If I can get a walk in, that totally energizes me, but my biggest pick me up is starting my day with hot water and lemon and a little free flow yoga in my living room!

These flats are so pretty. I stay organized throughout the day by checking (and updating) my planner as well as just trying to put things away at home when I’m done with them so I don’t feel overwhelmed by a messy kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc. at the end of the day.

skinny banana ice-cream does the trick for me! frozen banana blended with peanut butter and a dollop of greek yoghurt! blissssss!
I love to workout every morning as soon as I wake up. It’s hard to get started, but makes me feel so much better for the day ahead.
After a long day I like to take a quick shower when I get home. I find it energizes be enough to play with my kids and be present with them until bedtime.
My morning workouts energize me
These days it is coffee getting me through the day, but it used to be a quick walk around my office building. Oh the things we let go when we are busy.

I work in an office environment so unfortunately spend most of my waking hours cooped up inside. The one thing that never fails to energize me is some sunshine and fresh air! I try to go for a walk at least once a day to get my blood flowing and some good, clean air into my lungs!

Music keeps me going throughout the day – if I’m feeling sleepy I know it is time to blast some new music!
if i can peel myself from my desk at work, a mid-day walk really makes all the difference- it’s energizing physically, and mentally, helps me feel more positive and motivated to get back at it!
Drinking tea helps keep me going, plus getting up and walking around my office helps me keeping moving and focused on my work.
