Favorite things giveaway: Swopper

I am so, so excited for today’s giveaway. I use this every day, and am actually using it while writing this post: my Swopper chair!!
(There are furniture moving disk thingies —scientific term— attached on the bottom to protect the floors.)
Not only is this chair extremely sleek and comfy, but it has hidden benefits. The beauty of this chair is that it allows for natural spinal movement: up and down, forward and back, and from side to side. If you’ll notice, in most desk chairs, you’re stuck in a stationary position. This can decrease circulation (as you’re not moving any muscles while you sit) and from that, decrease oxygen to the brain which can make us sleepy and not perform to optimum levels. The beauty of the Swopper chair is that it allows gentle movement in all planes, increases circulation, increases energy, and promotes improved posture. This is a huge one for me because I have horrible posture. When I’m in this chair, I feel comfortable, but am less likely to slouch.
We’ve just started to transition this little hallway nook into my office area, and the Swopper chair is my favorite piece.

I would love to win the Swopper! I find sitting at a desk all day is so hard on your back and hips.
The Swopper is so neat! I’ve never seen anything like that before. I think it would be a fantastic addition to my office.
I love this chair – I have my office nook in our kitchen and this would be great and I could tuck the chair unde the desk area. My 2 kids make me smile and I love that my little office is in the center of our main usable space.
I love the look of the chair! I love that it can easily be pushed under the table and out of thd way. Mine is so bulky.
I am unfamiliar with the Swopper. This is a chair I’d love to try, considering that my current chair was a free castoff from my office building. It does not do good things for my back.
I have many years of graduate school ahead of me…which means lots and lots of late nights sitting at a desk. I’d love this chair to make that as enjoyable as possible!

Ok, I literally have rigged a standing desk at my work which I use for half the day. I am horrid at sitting in a traditional chair all day and this would be the perfect compromise! Winning this giveaway would be the best Christmas gift ever!

I would love to try out the Swooper chair! I have horrible posture and back problems – I am a teacher and constantly sitting on the floor or bending over. This chair would help while I’m sitting at my desk doing paper work.
Love this idea for a chair! Office chairs are always weird looking, but this one is so low profile. Love it!

Something I wish I HAD was an office outside of home! I need to store a few kitchen essentials there to claim my territory…a mini fridge, an immersion blender…and some peppermint candles.

Well, after four back surgeries, two of them fusions I’ve pretty much been through every chair that’s made- except this one. I often switch ( steal) my office mates chairs to see if theirs will feel better. Would love to see if this is the one!
