Favorite things giveaway: Swopper
Hi friends! How’s the morning going? Hope you’re having a great day so far.
I am so, so excited for today’s giveaway. I use this every day, and am actually using it while writing this post: my Swopper chair!!
(There are furniture moving disk thingies —scientific term— attached on the bottom to protect the floors.)
Not only is this chair extremely sleek and comfy, but it has hidden benefits. The beauty of this chair is that it allows for natural spinal movement: up and down, forward and back, and from side to side. If you’ll notice, in most desk chairs, you’re stuck in a stationary position. This can decrease circulation (as you’re not moving any muscles while you sit) and from that, decrease oxygen to the brain which can make us sleepy and not perform to optimum levels. The beauty of the Swopper chair is that it allows gentle movement in all planes, increases circulation, increases energy, and promotes improved posture. This is a huge one for me because I have horrible posture. When I’m in this chair, I feel comfortable, but am less likely to slouch.
We’ve just started to transition this little hallway nook into my office area, and the Swopper chair is my favorite piece.

I would love to try this at my office! My posture needs some help.
Ahh I just moved into my first “grown up” apartment (aka no roommates) and have a desk but no chair 🙁 I would love to have this for my tiny studio!

i would LOVE to win this chair. i have nothing to post about things i love in my office, as everything it seems is against me. temp is freezing, staring at a computer makes my eyes sore are vision blurry, and sitting all day makes me fear that i’ll die from the sitting disease! this chair looks amazing 🙂
I would love this chair! As a graduate student I am always on my computer writing papers, and I also have terrible posture. One thing making me smile today is that finals are almost over. Well, it’s also making me grimace because I have a lot of writing left to do. Haha!

The favorite thing in my office is the fat cat sprawled across my desk.
This chair wouldn’t necessarily be for me. My fiancé and I both got done with undergraduate education and are now just making some money before we attend teacher certification (for me) and medical school ( for my fiancé). My fiancé works for Swedish hospital as a patient service representative and has to sit for long days every day. He comes home every night in such pain and seeing this chair it’d be perfect for him!!!! Unfortunately we are on such a tight budget it would be unaffordable. I know this would make his life so much better though 🙂
My day job involves a lot of sitting so this chair would be an awesome addition to my office space!!
The best part of my day is our daily morning vacation countdown – 8 1/2 workdays to go until 2 weeks off! woohoo!

that chair looks great. I have terrible posture. I think my pilates teacher would say that i need to buy one for home and one for my desk in the office! That plus i could use more oxygen flow to the brain 🙂

The chair in my home office is a crappy secondhand one, so I would be thrilled to win a Swopper chair!
I would love to win this chair. I work in the office all day but am soon becoming a full time Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. I plan my classes at home (usually on a couch or uncomfortable kitchen chair) so this chair would be awesome to have at home!

I’m a high school teacher and would love a better chair to use during my planning! I rarely sit during classes, but during my planning is when I need the most energy, so a nice chair would be awesome!
Would LOVE to win! I am very tall for a lady (6’2”) and have a terrible time sitting/working at a desk because it seems to be a constant struggle to accommodate taller individuals with generic office equipment (desks aren’t high enough, chairs aren’t high enough in the back or the arm rests hit the desk, etc); this chair would be amazing because it would force me to correct my posture all day long and bc it lacks arm rests, would be one more thing that actually supports a healthy desk environment. Fingers crossed!

It’s nearing tax season where I sit for up to 12-14 hours a day so this would be amazing!!! I would love to have one. The snow right now is making me smile-only because I’m not out driving in it

I actually have a ball chair I’ve taken with me to three different jobs/offices now, but it could really use an update/upgrade, and the Swopper chair looks like it may be a great option!
