Favorite things giveaway: Swopper
Hi friends! How’s the morning going? Hope you’re having a great day so far.
I am so, so excited for today’s giveaway. I use this every day, and am actually using it while writing this post: my Swopper chair!!
(There are furniture moving disk thingies —scientific term— attached on the bottom to protect the floors.)
Not only is this chair extremely sleek and comfy, but it has hidden benefits. The beauty of this chair is that it allows for natural spinal movement: up and down, forward and back, and from side to side. If you’ll notice, in most desk chairs, you’re stuck in a stationary position. This can decrease circulation (as you’re not moving any muscles while you sit) and from that, decrease oxygen to the brain which can make us sleepy and not perform to optimum levels. The beauty of the Swopper chair is that it allows gentle movement in all planes, increases circulation, increases energy, and promotes improved posture. This is a huge one for me because I have horrible posture. When I’m in this chair, I feel comfortable, but am less likely to slouch.
We’ve just started to transition this little hallway nook into my office area, and the Swopper chair is my favorite piece.

WOW this chair looks amazing. I just joined the wellness initiative at my company and would love to get this out in front of my desk at the office!
When I sit at my desk I borrow a kitchen chair, it would be nice to have a permenant chair.

Love the chair!! It could replace the dining chair we’re currently using! And much more stylish than using a stability ball – we have a small desk in a corner of our living room, so we can work and watch the kiddo!

What a great chair! My dad is a chiropractor so I know he’d appreciate me being proactive about my shoddy posture 🙂
The thing I love most on my desk is one of those digital picture frames, which is stocked with pictures from my wedding day last year. Even when my day is going entirely off-kilter, it’s nice to have an engaging visual reminder of a time that was so incredible.
As I was reading this I found myself slouched and bent over at my desk…would die for one of these chairs to keep me moving in my seat a little more!

I’ve been looking for a new desk chair, I can’t seem to find one that I love. Plus I love that it doesn’t take over your room, but slides neatly beneath the desk.

My little errand-running buddy was cracking me up all morning (he’s my 3 year-old son). I wish he could just stay this age forever because he says and does some of the funniest things. He just told his older sister (who asked if she could play the computer game after him), “No! And no means no!” Love it!!

I would love to win this chair and replace the chair in my office! I spend about 8 hours a day in my office chair, so it would be really nice to get a little core workout in!

Just reading about this chair made me sit up straighter in my boring old office chair! My body is already complaining after an hour of Zumba and 30 minutes of fat-burning Pilates, but good posture is more important!
