Favorite things giveaway: Swopper

Hi friends! Howโ€™s the morning going? Hope youโ€™re having a great day so far.

I am so, so excited for todayโ€™s giveaway. I use this every day, and am actually using it while writing this post: my Swopper chair!!

Swopper 1 of 1

(There are furniture moving disk thingies โ€”scientific termโ€” attached on the bottom to protect the floors.)

Not only is this chair extremely sleek and comfy, but it has hidden benefits. The beauty of this chair is that it allows for natural spinal movement: up and down, forward and back, and from side to side. If youโ€™ll notice, in most desk chairs, youโ€™re stuck in a stationary position. This can decrease circulation (as youโ€™re not moving any muscles while you sit) and from that, decrease oxygen to the brain which can make us sleepy and not perform to optimum levels. The beauty of the Swopper chair is that it allows gentle movement in all planes, increases circulation, increases energy, and promotes improved posture. This is a huge one for me because I have horrible posture. When Iโ€™m in this chair, I feel comfortable, but am less likely to slouch.

Weโ€™ve just started to transition this little hallway nook into my office area, and the Swopper chair is my favorite piece.

I’d absolutely love to won this for my office! I currently have a used office chair with arms and I can’t get as close to the desk as I’d like as the chair arms don’t fit under the desk.

  18. Katie Hood on December 10, 2014 at 4:55 pm

This chair looks so awesome! My work chair has been sat in by far too many people before it was passed on to me. It doesn’t stay positioned where I put it. It slowly sinks down throughout the day. It’s ugly, too! I’d totally replace it with this chair!!

I would love to win this chair so I can work on my posture at work! I sit for 8-9 hours at a time, and it would be great to have a chair that supports natural spine movement for such long periods of time.
