Favorite things giveaway: Swopper
Hi friends! How’s the morning going? Hope you’re having a great day so far.
I am so, so excited for today’s giveaway. I use this every day, and am actually using it while writing this post: my Swopper chair!!
(There are furniture moving disk thingies —scientific term— attached on the bottom to protect the floors.)
Not only is this chair extremely sleek and comfy, but it has hidden benefits. The beauty of this chair is that it allows for natural spinal movement: up and down, forward and back, and from side to side. If you’ll notice, in most desk chairs, you’re stuck in a stationary position. This can decrease circulation (as you’re not moving any muscles while you sit) and from that, decrease oxygen to the brain which can make us sleepy and not perform to optimum levels. The beauty of the Swopper chair is that it allows gentle movement in all planes, increases circulation, increases energy, and promotes improved posture. This is a huge one for me because I have horrible posture. When I’m in this chair, I feel comfortable, but am less likely to slouch.
We’ve just started to transition this little hallway nook into my office area, and the Swopper chair is my favorite piece.

Never heard of Swopper before but I like the idea of it.
I have been looking for a new, more ergonomic chair for my home office and this seems to be the ticket!
I sit alllllllll dang day at work (sometimes for 14 hours or more!!), so it would be great to have this to help with my posture!

Oh cool, this sounds like such a good idea! I sit much more than I would like, and usually I’m not very conscious of my posture. This would be a big improvement!

I sit majority of the day (ew) and have terrible posture so this looks like it would really help! I’ve elevated my computer, which helped me not look down so much, but I still tend to slouch.
So nice that the chair can be tucked out of the way when not in use!

This is so cool! I have a standing desk at work, but this would be awesome for when I do feel like sitting for a little bit.
I love that the chair can be tucked under a desk easily out of the way, I think so many office chairs are huge and bulky and space is at a premium in this house!
We are moving in two weeks to California and my Husband and I will both be working from home. This will be the perfect addition to our future home office!

would love this for work! i have a desk job, meaning sitting for 40+ hours a week– would love something to prevent back injuries and hip tightness that could be down the road for me with a job involving lots of sitting like this!
