Green juice chat
Hi friends! How was the weekend? I hope you had a wonderful one. Ours was filled with events – a very typical Maycember – but lots of fun time with friends and family. We had a birthday party, graduation party, dance party, and I taught a couple of classes.
Itโs been a while since weโve had a little catch-up post around here. While I wish I could have a green juice or coffee with you in real life, virtual will have to do for now. ๐ So please grab a green juice or coffee, let’s share a giant pastry, and catch up a bit on life!
If we were having green juice right now…
Iโd ask you about summer plans! I always love to hear what youโre up to over the summer, camps the kiddos are doing, and if you have upcoming travels.
Iโd also tell you about our upcoming trip to Italy and Greece! Iโm SO so looking forward to it (the scenery! the food! the SHOPPING) and the kiddos canโt wait, too. If you have any tips for jet lag, please send them my way lol.
Also, Iโm having the hardest time finding sandals with a strap that donโt look like old lady sandals or toddler shoes. If you have any Europe sandals (with a heel strap) that are comfy for all day walking and still stylish, pleeeeease lmk. I donโt want to go the Birks or Tevas route, and am just looking for something neutral, comfy and cute! Iโll be wearing these unicorn sandals and my white Vivobarefoots while we walk around and explore.
If we were having green juice right now, Iโd tell ya that Iโm thisclose to finishing my Integrative Health Practitioner Level 2 certification and am so pumped about it. I could have blasted through the material and finished quickly, but I wanted to make sure I absorbed as much as possible and truly learned everything I could. Iโll also repeat modules to review material later on because itโs a LOT. I canโt wait to put this into practice, interpret real-life test results, and help clients and friends make some incredible and positive life changes.
Iโd also probably tell ya about a program that Iโve been working on, and will be sharing later this summer/ early fall / when itโs finished. It really is the whole package and itโs something I wish would have existed when I was in the depths of my health journey. When I wanted to nap all day, couldnโt wake up in the morning, depending on sugar, had horrible anxiety, I wish this would have existed.
Iโll share more soon, but itโs going to be geared towards moms who feel completely burned out and want to find more joy and balance in their life. If you want the info first, just comment WAITLIST on this post (and that your email address with your comment is valid; it wonโt be published but I can save it to send you the info when everything is ready).
If we were having green juice right now, Iโd tell you that weโre a year and a half away from closing the chapter on military life. And since weโre just chatting and having a juice together, Iโd tell ya the truth. Iโm ready. The Pilot has had a long, wonderful career, Iโm incredibly proud of him, and weโve met some great friends. At the same time, I canโt even imagine what it will be like to have him home more often (even when heโs flying commercially again) without the pressure, instability, and urgency that often accompanies this life.
Iโd want to know if youโve found any new restaurants or enjoyed any new fitness classes lately. Iโve been LOVING Lagree – we donโt have a studio here but itโs something I enjoy taking when we travel- and hot yoga has felt extra amazing. Restaurant-wise, we have some places opening here in Tucson: True Food is FINALLY coming. For local fare, I definitely recommend BATA for my Tucson friends who havenโt been already.
So tell me, friends: whatโs going on in your world? What are you looking forward to the most right now? Any summer travel plans? If you could design a wellness program to help with anything youโre experiencing, what would you include?? (<โ this would help me a ton as I finish designing the framework!)
Happy Monday, friends. Thanks for being here today and Iโll see ya tomorrow!
xo

Wow Italy and Greece!!! I remember you mentioned in the past how much you loved visiting Italy in the past so thatโll be so awesome to experience it with your girls! Itโs seriously one of those countries where I always say โI canโt believe people get to live here all year in real lifeโ whenever I visit! Hope itโs an amazing trip! Iโm going to be visiting California (LA, Orange County), Austin, and Philadelphia this summer. Iโm most excited about visiting California!

Have your ventured into the world of barefoot sandals yet?? Because there are sooooooo many cute options that could work for that!
no but i can’t find any barefoot ones that look cute and not like i’m going on a hike! please lmk if you have any that you love!
I wore a pair of gold Old Navy T strap sandles through all of Italy (I know, I know haha) but they were comfortable and cute, no issues! I also wore Bob’s all white sneakers, loved those as well. Have a great time!!

Our summer is full of sports camps and games, camping as a family, and some summer school programs. We don’t have a vacation planned but will most likely get in at least one long weekend somewhere.

Just wore these all over Tuscany. Two thumbs up for comfort plus compliments from Italians. ๐
I love Pons sandals! I have the style with the ankle strap and they look so much cuter on than they do online. I wore them daily in Vietnam for 2 weeks and they were so comfy and somehow didnโt smell. Theyโre not a rue sandal, but theyโre easy and cute and last for ages
Italy and Greece sound fun (but not for me, I’m a cold weather gal lol). I’m taking a road trip in 2 weeks with a friend from Philadelphia out to Washington State! Super excited about that. I’m also doing a hiking/backpacking trip in Banff and Jasper in Canada later this summer, which I’m totally stoked for!!

This summer, for the first time ever, Iโm taking a weeklong STAYcation! I am so excited. Iโm going to get a facial, massage, mani and pedi, and Iโll do yoga and take long walks every day, and go to lunch with my friends who work from home. Canโt wait. Iโm jealous of your Italy and Greece trip though!
that sounds amazing! have the best time!!
I walk all over Europe in Fitflops, they have lots of different leather styles (not flip flop;) & nice slight platform, I agree I donโt want to look like Iโm hiking or wearing athletic shoes, I have many styles & theyโre my go-toโs, hereโs just an example = https://www.fitflop.com/us/en/shop/gracie-leather-back-strap-sandals-p-EB1#090
