I was in a similar situation when I moved to another state to go to college when I was 18. My so called family begged me to stay in their home and I accepted to try to save on room and board. After the honeymoon period, however, things changed and they made my time there a living hell. I hope things improve for you. They certainly did for me when I left that place and moved into the dorms like I should have done in the first place!

  27. salah@myhealthiestlifestyle on December 5, 2010 at 9:56 pm

Man you’re moving again? That sucks. I used to be an army brat, and I thought I had it bad moving every couple of years! Looks like you’ve got some great food, lovely dogs, and wonderful people to help you surround yourself with positive energy! I’m sure things are already looking up pretty lady:))

    • Fitnessista on December 6, 2010 at 1:18 am

i was a total wreck… ready to feel like myself again

  36. Nel on December 5, 2010 at 10:42 pm

Yikes. There’s nothing like living in your own place. I can’t imagine tip-toeing around someone else’s home, especially with two dogs! I’m guessing getting a studio is not an option financially… 🙁 moms are wonderful, though.

    • Fitnessista on December 6, 2010 at 1:18 am

yeah but i’m going to get a place of my own in tucson- not going to stay with fam anymore

  37. Christin@purplebirdblog on December 5, 2010 at 10:57 pm

So sorry you’ve had such a rough day 🙁 Hopefully vegan desserts and your friend Jenny will make everything better! Enjoy your party with your LuLu friends!!

  43. lori on December 6, 2010 at 12:11 am

Gina, I am so sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time. Sounds like a lot is going on, but somehow you are able to stay positive. Living with relatives for an extended period of time is usually pretty tough. Good for you for making it as long as you did 🙂 I wish you well with your move.

  44. Dynamics on December 6, 2010 at 12:33 am

So sorry to read about your day. What is with not waiting two more days. Geez. Hugs and more hugs. Think positive. This could be a very good thing for you. Time will tell. Good luck Gina. Yeah for mommy’s coming to our rescue. Of note: ALL dogs shed!!!! Geez.

    • Christina on December 6, 2010 at 1:32 am

Not necessarily. There are hypo-allergenic dogs that don’t shed.

  45. Erin on December 6, 2010 at 12:33 am

I’m thinking of you sweet Gina…take care of yourself. It looks like you’re already doing that. Good girl. xox

  46. Katie on December 6, 2010 at 12:39 am

Moms make everything better 🙂 Hang in there girl!

  47. Gina Q. on December 6, 2010 at 12:52 am

Eee…please don’t use Gypsy as a synonym for homeless, they are two very different things. Gypsy can refer to several distinct ethnic groups and cultures, who while nomadic are not homeless–certainly not in the sense of being destitute and unable to secure housing.

    • Fitnessista on December 6, 2010 at 1:16 am

i’m more nomadic than homeless too 🙂

  48. Ashley @ the fit academic on December 6, 2010 at 1:08 am

No good – sorry about the bad day! I hope it turns around soon!

  49. nicole on December 6, 2010 at 3:55 am

Aww, I hope it gets better! Remember that it is only a short time until Tuesday and then you’ll be in a better place. You said you were moving across the country? Come to California! Though I’m thinking you’re going to Arizona. Keep your head up!

  50. Cassie @ A Very Busy Mind on December 6, 2010 at 6:13 am

Gina! That ish is crazy. You (and the puppies) will be much happier in Tucson anyway. 🙂
