I started this little blog at a major transition point in my life. We had just moved to Valdosta which was a little over 1800 miles from lifelong family and friends. It definitely felt like I was starting from scratch. I was also beginning my journey into the fitness world. It was good to have a hobby I truly enjoyed in such an unfamiliar place. Of course, that hobby turned into passion, and the more I learned, the more I wanted to share. The blog became that platform, and it changed my life. Iโm so thankful to all of you for stopping by here, and for making this the fun and lovely community that itโs become. My gratitude extends to everyone for helping make โHIIT It!โ a reality. So to thank you, I thought Iโd put together a huge giveaway prize for a lucky reader featuring some of my favorite things. I have pinned HIIT it!
I have shared it with many! Pinned and talked it up to all of my friends. After being sick all fall (stupid germs) and a rockin’ shoulder injury, I am using the HIIT program to get back in shape. It’s amazing how much strength you can lose after 6 months!
I purchased the email copy of HIT It via amazon! I just purchased it last week and have been traveling, so I havenโt done the workouts yet. Iโve been reading the recipes to plan out our grocery list. I cannot wait to get more into it.
Being healthy makes me happy!! Cooking good food for my family, getting exercise, and taking care of myself makes me a better person.
Things that make me happy are my munchkin, a good book, the ocean, family and friends.

Hot yoga in the winter makes me happy!
Something that makes me happy? The fact that it was finally warm enough in Minnesota this past Sunday (a balmy 35) to go for a nice run outside – something I haven’t done since about October. It felt so great!
I’ve had “HIIT It!” for a couple of weeks and have been using it to create a workout plan. So far so good! Also made the Amazeballs for the first time and LOVE them. The book has been a real inspiration to make some healthy changes in my life.
I pre-ordered the HIIT book, which was ANOTHER thing that made me happy – coming home from work one day to find it waiting on the front porch!
Spreading the love to my mom, showed her some of the recipes and she’s loving it!
One of my favorite things is making myself a smoothie for breakfast every morning. It just makes me happy and is the perfect start to my day!
And speaking of HIIT It, I spread the word by sharing the tips, techniques and eating with my boyfriend who, until your book, had never heard of HIIT – and now whenever I say I’m going to do an interval training workout, he asks if I’m going to HIIT It – kudos to you, Gina!

Blogs like yours make me happy! I’m trying to lose a couple of holiday pounds and have a desk job so sitting all day sometimes leaves me feeling like I would rather continue sitting than getting a workout in, haha. But reading your blog (and others like healthy tipping point and fannetastic food) usually give me that extra boost I need to get to it!

What’s making me happy this morning: Tim Horton’s Coffee, a new strength workout to try, little man taking the longest nap (!!!), and catching up on my blog reading.
