LA takes my words away
A couple of notes:
-Physique 57 burns even more the second time– as I type this, my thighs are trembling!! So glad I had Sheila with me to endure the pain, and to catch up with her (Missed my other Physique buddy, too!)
-To all of you who recommended Real Food Daily: you are awesome. It was LEGENDARY 😀 Why have I never had tempeh bacon before? I ate about 1,000 pieces off the Pilot’s plate.
-LA is amazeballz. Thanks again so much to my Gatorade friends for sending the Pilot and me here to enjoy the festivities <3
-The launch party starts in one hour and guess who hasn’t even showered yet?? Yikers.

Is that picture of the Pilot at Beverly Center? That was my favorite mall when I was living down in LA (for all of 3 months)! Soooo many amazing stores and designer stuff! I bet you had a blast! 🙂

Hey Mindy – There’s another vegetarian place I’ve heard of but never been to here in Big D. Cosmic Café? I’ve heard it’s good, I’m not vegan, but I have several friends who are. The website says vegetarian, but it may be worth a look?

OMG YES You went to RFD! I almost commented last night to tell you to go there! My FAVORITE restaurant in all of LA. And hell yes, best fake bacon ON EARTH. It is my love!
Real Food Daily is my favorite! I so wish they had something similar in Dallas. Enjoy your time in L.A.!

the living wrap- it was amazing! we also shared the wasabi rolls and the pilot had fettuccine alfredo with tempeh bacon

Fun fact: you actually have to buy a membership to shop in the Trashy Lingerie store.
I think it’s only like $5, but my room mate had to buy a membership when she was a production assistant on a talk show. Too funny.

I don’t know how long you’re staying but my yoga studio UpDog (Santa Monica and just west of La Cienega) is great and if you have time you should go to Runyon canyon, fun hike with great views of the city 🙂
