podcast is back (+ a giveaway!)
Hi from Tucson! Exciting news today: the podcast is back! I took a little bit of a spring break to get my creative mojo going, and wanted to take some time to narrow down the type of content I wanted to provide. I didn’t expect it to grow as quickly as it did (thank you!!!), and wanted to make sure I was giving you the best content possible. I took a couple of months to brainstorm, interview guests, and relaunch with a more strategic vision.
So, here we are!
(Same photo! Maybe we’ll update it in the fall)
I’m very excited for the newest episode because I’m chatting with my good friend and macro coach, Emily Field, RD. Emily is extremely knowledgable, down-to-earth, and I love chatting with her. You can check out the podcast notes + a full transcript of the episode here.
Exciting news: Emily is going to be teaming up with me for this year’s Summer Shape Up! We start the party on June 24, and she’ll be providing the meal plans, grocery lists, and macro counts for your nutrition goals.

I would love to hear more about core strength and how to incorporate into daily/weekly strength and running – I think it’s super important and an area of weakness for me (especially as a runner).
I’d love to hear more about working out with chronic back/neck and joint pain – how to navigate that, figure out what works for you without aggravating everything for a week, etc. 🙂
I would love to hear about eating nutrient dense foods and a topic about eating to live versus living to eat…how about daphne oz as a guest???
I’d love to hear about pre and postpartum fitness. I am expecting my first child, and there is so much conflicting information out there. It is sometimes overwhelming.

Gina – I actually just discovered your podcast and am really enjoying it so far! I started with the Burn Boot Camp episode, and it inspired me to start carving out time in my schedule to work out and prioritize my self-care. Sounds cliche, but I needed to hear that! Thanks so much — looking forward to listening to more topics <3
I would like to hear about exercising with knee arthritis and/or knee injury.
Podcasts I think would be great
1) A pregnancy/postpartum expert to go along with all of the great information you already have/provide
2) I always love a pod-cast on different life-hacks people have
3) Staying consistent with traveling with kids (fitness wise)
More on fitness and pregnancy!
I think something on balancing types of workouts would be great!
Amazing! I love seeing what happens after people take a step back and take time to bring more shape and focus.
I think I would love to hear a podcast that’s a sort of roundtable discussion on different fitness professionals in the industry and in similar (or similarly aligned) sort of ways–like, a barre3 instructor and a Body Flow instructor and a yoga instructor and a pilates instructor and maybe some sort of holistic health/wellbeing professional all coming together to talk about ways they advocate for integrated health, wellness, fitness, wellbeing in a mind-body sort of a way.
(I hope that makes sense!)
ALSO, I just subscribed to the podcast in itunes! I can listen to it when I am making my Les Mills RPM and Les Mills Body Flow playlists for each week! 🙂
maybe interview Melissa about the Whole 30 or the people who founded Orange Theory? Like how did they come up with that concept and what made them franchise it?
I’d love to see you have the ladies of Forever 35 to chat about skincare and makeup! Other fun guests could be Lauryn and Michael from the Skinny Confidential.
I’m already subscribed and so excited you’re back with a new episode!
I already left a review 🙂
I would love to hear about rebuilding your core after pregnancy. I also had two large babies and am currently in PT to work on closing my ab separation but I am surprised by how little info there is out there on how to recover safely and effectively.
I would love for you to have Anne Mauney from Fannetastic Food on the podcast to discuss intuitive eating and how to cultivate a healthy relationship with food.
I’m subscribed to the podcast on Apple Podcasts 🙂
I’d love to hear/learn more about Perimenopause. For many of us it starts much sooner than we’d expect in our 30’s and may leave us banging our heads about sympytoms when it all comes back to hormones and how they change in the phase in our life leading up to Menopause.
I left a podcast review on Stitcher! Great work 🙂 I love listening to the podcast on my lunch break while I take a walk or in the morning when I am getting ready for work.
Just subscribed to the podcast!
Id love to hear about maintaining relationships, both for friends and spouse, especially after kids! Oh and life hacks are always great!
Consider having Isabel Foxen Duke about her approach to body image and dieting.

I love to hear advice on how to balance training and real life.
I subscribe to the podcast.
I’m always looking to hear more about skincare!
I’d love to hear more about incorporating workouts into a busy day! I’m a full time working mom and by the time I get the kiddos dropped off at daycare, work, pick them up and back home again my only options are 4:30 am (not going to happen ;0) ) or late in the evening!
Hi! I would love to learn more about how diet affects our hormones in positive and negative ways. Such an interesting and important topic!
