Well, that’s what happened yesterday 🙂

First I was excited to see a package that didn’t have the Amazon smiley face on it –those tend to pop up over here pretty frequently- and then I saw “perishable food” and things got even more ridic.

I couldn’t open the popcorn fast enough….

and put the pizza in the oven, just in time for the Pilot to get home from work.

Random acts of kindness are truly amazing, and whenever someone does something nice for me, it makes me want to share the positive energy with someone else… so I thought it would be a great day for a giveaway- it’s been a while since we’ve had one of those over here!

After reading the comments on yesterday’s YouTube fitness post, I remembered that many of you also enjoy working out at home, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite at-home workouts with a blog friend:

It makes it even harder to choose because Shaun T. is fun and verryyyy nice to look at, and Chalene is a firecracker of motivation and energy.

    I invested in some 10 lb weights and do about 30 minutes of weights when I can’t bring myself to change out of my pjs and go to the gym. 🙂

    I actually really like the Carmen Elektra cardio striptease DVDs, but only ever do the actual workout one that doesn’t involve any stripper moves. It leaves my muscles shaking!

    This is my first time commenting, but I read religiously! My favorite at-home workouts are not really at home, I’m a big runner so I LOVE running! When I come home I like to make up circuits with ideas from crossfit, tabata, p90x, or things I just make up! I also use items around the house when I dont have the right equipment…chairs, gallons of milk..etc. I have been wanting to buy insanity or turbofire, I’m moving to NYC and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to afford a gym membership there!

    Well, I’m a runner through and through, but I really enjoy doing the Tone It Up workouts at home, as well as Hip Hop Abs! I’d absolutely love to get Insanity since Shaun T., the guy who did HHA’s, is the creator!

    Oooh. That would be awesome, I’ve been trying to decide whether to splurge on one (or both, lol) of those. My fav at home workout is actually Dance Dance Revolution, you know with the dance pad? Though I’m running out of ones I haven’t done. 🙂

    Ok…so I have been DREAMING of those macaroons ever since I was so lucky to taste them OVER A YEAR AGO. I have ventured to try and make them, bought commercial macaroons, and NOTHING beats the lemon lavender! and now we can fuel with roons and then burn the cals off with Turbo fire?! I’m in love.

    I like to do dance-cardio videos at home or simple tabata style workouts! Thanks Gina! 🙂

    Favorite at home work-out is Jillian- 30 day shred is short and sweet. I’d love to try either of those though!

    Like many I am Bodyrocker and I commit to the gym at least twice a week… but honestly sometimes I put my Ipod on shuffle and just make it up. Different songs will inspire different ‘moves’! Of course this only happens when my husband is not home.

    My favorite at home would be turbo fire! If I hadn’t lost them in the last move! I could really use the new set! So for now my fave is walking/jogging outside!

    I like to try new things at home that I don’t do all the time such as yoga. I really like ab videos or on demand ab workouts that are short but effective, change up routine, and give me ideas. I also like fun workouts that you dance to since you can just throw it in and have a little fun on a day you don’t go to the gym.

    I’m a big fan of at home workouts since I quite the gym almost two years ago…the best part is since I stopped doing chronic cardio, I gained a lot of muscle tone.
