Sharing my top blog posts and pages of 2024

Hi friends! How are you? How was the weekend? Ours was a good one. The kids had lots of friend time, P had a basketball game, and I taught two barre classes. The Pilot had to work and itโ€™s hard to believe it was his last drill weekend EVER; he retires at the end of the month!

For todayโ€™s post, Iโ€™m sharing a roundup of my top blog posts and pages from the past year. Itโ€™s always fun to go through analytics and see which posts perform well, and almost all of these are posts I created to try to give a ton of value, like a recipe, a how-to, full review, etc. Itโ€™s also an interesting year because quite a few of these are posts that my SEO team went back and did surgery on. SEO is SEO-ing and Iโ€™m into it! Itโ€™s also such a great way to introduce new readers to the blog and keep posts from being published and dying.

Hereโ€™s the full roundup!

Top posts and pages of 2024

1. The blog homepage

This one means the most to me because it means that a majority of readers are my internet besties who click directly to the blog without finding it through Google. I love hanging out with all of you each day and it means that world to me that you check in to see whatโ€™s going on. <3

2. Healthy Homemade Dog Food

Masieyโ€™s dog food recipe! I loved putting this post together because she LOVES this dog food so.much, and so many people have let me know that their pups love it, too! I make a huge batch every two weeks or so and she goes crazy for it.

3. Homemade gelatin gummies for gut health

This is a recipe that the kids ask to make all the time; they love it and itโ€™s such a good way to get in some gut-nourishing ingredients.

4. Easy enchiladas with rotisserie chicken

Seriously the easiest enchilada recipe that I make all the time and is a true crowd pleaser. Using rotisserie chicken makes it way faster, too!

5. Lazy Sunday dinner ideas

Iโ€™m writing this post on a Sunday, as I wonder what the heck weโ€™re going to eat for dinner, so this is one of those posts that I wrote because I needed it myself ๐Ÿ˜‰ It has some of our quick and delicious go-to dinner options.

6. Homemade protein ice cream

This protein ice cream is so good if you want a sweet treat with a lil protein in there!

7. What to expect at Orangetheory Fitness

I havenโ€™t done Orangetheory in years, but it used to be my go-to workout. Hereโ€™s what you can expect in a full class.

8. F45 vs. Orangetheory – my full review

Iโ€™ve swapped over to F45 and in this post, I share the differences between these two popular formats.

9. How to set up your Peloton bike (or any spin bike)

This is another post I wrote because I realized that the info out there was not very helpful lol. When I made the video, I was like, โ€œI hope this helps a lot of people who are stumped on bike setupโ€ and am so pumped that itโ€™s made a difference.

10. Morning detox drink with turmeric

This morning drink is warming and cozy with lemon and turmeric; one of my favorite ways to start the day.

11. How to take care of a fiddle leaf fig tree

This blog post credit goes 100% to Frida in all of her glory. Sheโ€™s a finicky gal, and once I cracked the code on how to take care of her, I knew I needed to write a post about it.

12. Pvolve review and if itโ€™s worth it

This is a workout Iโ€™ve fallen in love with over the past couple of years and got to take a live class last time we were in Scottsdale. If youโ€™re looking for a low-impact workout focused on mobility and strength, this might be an awesome fit.

13. How to train for a half marathon while strength training

Sharing tips on how to incorporate a solid training split while training for a half marathon.

14. Whole Foods red dahl lentil soup recipe

I love this soup from Whole Foods and used to buy it all of the time. A couple of problems: I donโ€™t like the plastic lined soup cups (the hot food cause cause it to leach), and itโ€™s expensive. I knew I could make it at home on the cheap with organic ingredients, and this copycat recipe tastes 100% like the real thing.

15. Mediterranean egg bites (gluten-free and dairy free)

These egg bites are perfect to make and store in the freezer. For a busy morning, just pop a few in the toaster oven or microwave, grab some fruit, and boom. Breakfast is served.

18. F45 for beginners – what to expect at a class

LOVE F45 and Iโ€™m sharing details about this format, what tools they use, the training split, and tips for my first-time friends.ย

19. Sculpt Society Review

Sculpt Society is one my favorite weekly workouts. The classes are SO fun and unique, I love the trainers (theyโ€™re not fake/cheesy/over the top), and I always get a great workout. If you like barre and dance cardio, definitely give this a try.

20. Homemade sea salt hair spray

A simple recipe for a texturizing spray you can make at home. You probably have most of the ingredients on hand, too.

So tell me, friends: what would you like to see on the blog this year? Is there anything youโ€™d like to see more of? Anything this site is missing that youโ€™d like me to include? Thank you so much for your help and feedback and for being here.

xoxo

Gina
