Hey hey! Happy Friday!

It’s a traveling day Smile

I had to get up early as ballz this morning to catch my 6am flight- the exciting thing was that I didn’t hit snooze or sleep through my alarm. I think I’m just way excited to visit friends this weekend! Open-mouthed smile

The first flight was a snappy layover in Houston:

And an unconventional breakfast:

Two pieces of delicious socca, layered with greens, hummus and a sliced organic bell pepper.

On the first flight, I snoozed with my mouth wide open (hawt as ever) and on the second, I read American Wife and Crazy Sexy Diet.

I’ve only had time to read before bed lately, so I’m hoping to finish both books by the end of my trip.It should be pretty easy because they’ve both been amazing so far! It’s my friend Jeni’s baby shower in Valdosta tomorrow, but since I flew into Jacksonville, I’ll be staying with a lovely friend and shenaniganning before making the drive to V-town tomorrow.

Time to find some FOOD Open-mouthed smile

    That’s funny about the “Michael Jackson shoes” lol : ) I HATE early morning flights! But it’s good to get there during the day so you’re not arriving and just immediately crashing in bed! Have fun!

    American Wife was one of the best books I read in 2010! I. loved. it. This is kind of ridiculous but I was sad when it was over.

      I love when I feel that way about a book. It usually makes me immediately read anything else the author’s written.

    my weekend plans consist of sitting in airports too, on my way to Mexico bright and early tomorrow, so early thats its not even bright out, its still dark haha

    i need to get me some Tom’s, or Sanuk’s. have you heard of those?

    Haha I have a habit of sleeping with my mouth wide open too.. how attractive, isn’t it?? No trips for me this weekend, but next weekend I’m off to see one of my besties that I haven’t seen in months.. SO pumped! 🙂 Safe travels Gina!

    I have the Lulu inflight bag too-I LOOOOVE it…it has soooo many pockets and it’s comfy!!!! They do have some MJ flare to them-but I think there’s a law about making fun of Tom’s shoes…it’s like making a donation!

    I love your Lulu Fast in Flight tote! I have one too and I am obesssed! I get compliments on it all the time! Have funny in Valdizzy (which is how I read it every time, even if I see it Valdosta)!

    I would love to get a kindle! Are books purchased on the kindle at a lower “discounted” price (like music on itunes)?

    & yes they look like MJ shoes but I’m sure they look great with your outfit!

    I am taking a mini vacation with Jason to a hotel about 40 minute away — it will be nice just to get out of the house and relax at the pool, hot tub, etc.

    Sleeping on planes is totally the best when you got up sooo early for it and are just exhausted and just kind of melt into the seat the minute you sit down.

    Snappy layovers…the best kind.

    Beyond impressed you threw up a blog post in all your “spare time” during your layover, too! 🙂

    I’m reading Crazy Sexy Diet on my kindle too! I was wondering, have you figured out a way to make the size bigger? Some of the testimonials and lists she gives are hard to read on it.

    No trips, but tonight/ afternoon is happy hour with B and some friends… Sat is a long bike ride and lots of BAttleField Bad Company 2 and Sunday is breakfast with my sister-in-law. So excited to get this party started ! 🙂
