Dancer’s pose is my absolute favorite.

  2. Haley @ Housegirl Haley on June 8, 2012 at 12:03 am

Sirsasana! I had to look up the yoga name for the headstand. I’ve only taken one yoga class where the instructor taught us how to do it. Afterwards I became obsessed with mastering it. Now I always win headstand contests with my friends – haha. Because that happens really often.

My second favorite would be crow. It’s really challenging for me. I can only do it on good days. I just think there is something so cool about being able to balance all your body weight on your hands like that.

balancing stick. the way it feels and the timing of it–perfect.

  5. Rebecca on June 8, 2012 at 12:10 am

I don’t think I have a favorite–I love and yield benefits from all of them. I work at a yoga studio and practice power vinyasa daily, and each time I step onto my mat my practice is drastically different but always transformative. I love Cassey’s designs, and the bag would be incredibly useful. I don’t have a mat bag and keep wanting to buy one, but for some reason never do!

  6. Danika F on June 8, 2012 at 12:13 am

My favorite pose is probably pyramid – man, can I feel those hammys stretching. Hurts so good!

  7. Lindsay on June 8, 2012 at 12:14 am

Bakasana – Crow pose. It took me two and a half years to master this pose… Lots of near-face plants, lots of teetering on my hands and the very tips of my toes – in short, lots of practice. And then finally, one day, it stuck. For me, one of the most hard won victories. 🙂

  8. Natalie on June 8, 2012 at 12:14 am

Love Cassey’s designs! I’ve always wanted one of her bags so I’m really excited about this giveaway! 12. Michelle on June 8, 2012 at 12:33 am

I love pigeon. It hurts so good.

  13. Hilary on June 8, 2012 at 12:35 am

I’d have to say crow. I remember the first time I tried it and tipped over onto my face. I just laughed because even though I didn’t stay in it for long, I was able to get up into the pose. It reminded me that yoga is a gift you give yourself every time you step onto your mat, and it keeps on giving because there’s always a new position to try, fail at, and try, try, try again at until you perfect. I love the attainability of yoga practice!

  14. Caitlin on June 8, 2012 at 12:40 am

I love down dog, because my calves and hamstring are tight no matter how much or often I stretch, so I always have something to work toward. I will get my heels on the ground, dangit!

  45. Emily on June 8, 2012 at 6:36 am

My favorite pose is the go to, standard, down dog. Everything opens up in that position, and I can feel my legs and back getting longer!

  46. Stephanie on June 8, 2012 at 6:47 am

Besides corpse pose (I mean, who doesn’t love that?! It’s the best feeling at the end of a practice!), I think pigeon is my favorite. My hips get really tight from running and wearing heels at work all day, and it’s just such a great stretch.

  47. Jessica on June 8, 2012 at 6:57 am

Pigeon pose…it feels so great on my hips!

  48. Jenn on June 8, 2012 at 6:59 am

  49. erin on June 8, 2012 at 7:02 am
