Bombas: my new favorite athletic socks

I feel like I’m always on the hunt for the perfect athletic sock. I have a couple of well-loved pairs that haven’t held well to the test of time. I had to throw multiple pairs away that either ripped, caused chafing, or had tiny holes in the toes. These Bombas socks are well-constructed, super comfortable, and are like the TOMs of socks: for every pair that is purchased, a pair is donated to someone in need. Socks are the #1 clothing request in homeless shelters (which is something great to be mindful of when considering donations this holiday season!). They’ve donated over 150,000 pairs since their company was founded in October 2013.
Bombas sent me some socks to try out, in addition to some pairs to share with friends and family.
We kind of like them. 😉
Some of my favorite features:
-The fabric is extremely soft Pima cotton. It’s moisture-wicking, so when you’re getting in a sweaty workout, they still feel light and dry. I’ve worn these to Orangetheory and Zumba, and they’re my new favorite socks.
-Great fit. They feel snug -I loathe the feel of loose socks!- and like a nice little foot hug. They have a Honeycomb support system which provides support in the arch where it’s most-needed.
-Ankle tab! This helps to prevent blisters and chafing, and also makes them easier to pull on.
-Seamless toe. Sometimes the seams in the toes of socks can be annoying (especially while running or dancing), and these seams are hand-linked into the socks, which renders them basically invisible.
These also make awesome stocking stuffers this holiday season! Quite a few members in our family are getting visits from the sock snowman. 😉

Seamless toes are very important in comfort factor. I would imagine the ankle tab also prevents the socks from falling down which is kind of awesome. Cute socks!

Finding good athletic socks is always a challenge for me. Almost all of mine have holes in the toes, they wear out fast. When I asked for athletic socks for Christmas I was met with eye rolls. People do not understand how important socks can be. I love that this company gives back and will definitely check them out.

I’ve heard so many positive reviews of these socks from other bloggers who have also tried these socks!! I will definitely be giving them a try when I’m in the market for new socks-they are cute and definitely look like a comfortable fit. Best of all, I love their cause. I love companies that give back!

just heard a commercial for these on sirius on cosmo’s wake up with taylor this morning. they said that the company invested a full 2 years of research into creating the perfect sock. they also make the socks they donate to the homeless shelters differently; anti-fungal, darker colors to show less wear, and a special fabric to make them last longer and wear better with less washes. i wanted to drive back home and immediately order a pair.

Ordered these after seeing them on the Blog. There was barely anything available, it took forever for them to process the order (4+ days), ship them and they are still sitting on the other side of the country. To add insult they offered free two day shipping so they would arrive before Christmas the day after I ordered. When I used their chat/email to inquire when they would ship/arrive it took 4 days to get a response that was very vague and unhelpful. Getting the feeling my stocking stuffers are going to arrive sometime after boxing day. Not impressed at all so far.
I bought the socks and the process was very smooth. They shipped out the day after ordering. That’s where my excitement ended. They use a company named OSM Worldwide. In 4 days my socks travelled from Cranbury, NJ to York, PA, 142 miles. At this rate I will get my socks in three weeks. Great company poor shipping partner.

I have checked reviews on trustvista and found this is a common problem with Bombas shipping partner OSM worldwide. The shipping policy says they primarily use USPS, just wish I was one of the customers they primarily shipped via USPS. My order is being shipped to TX so it is a domestic shipment.
I have sent an email and received the auto response informing they received my email and their crack team of customer happiness reps the s on the job. Guess I will see if they will make this right.
Same shipping issues here. Took them 1 week to ship out my socks. Now I gotta wait 1 more week to get my order. Sent me an ‘apology email’ giving me 10% off because they are having a setback at their fulfillment center. Not sure I’m believing this. Sounds like this is a common problem with this company. Not sure I’m gonna order again. 2 weeks to get socks?
