Hi friends! How are you? Happy Friday to ya! What’s going on this weekend? I blocked off this morning so I could take the kiddos to the museum and bowling, tomorrow, we’re going out, and Sunday, we’re swimming with friends.
Monsoon season is here and it’s been such a welcome treat from the 110-degree scorching oven.

I am excited for a kid-free trip with my husband for the first time in many years. The kids are now 21, 18, and 17 and don’t want to travel with us, which suits all of us right now. I’m hoping that in a few years, once they’re (hopefully) out on their own, living independent lives, we’ll want to vacation together again.
I’m excited for my kids to have their annual jeep trip with my parents. I’m not excited about them leaving but I know they are making core memories and I’m thankful my parents are healthy enough to take trips like these.
