Friday Faves 7.14

Hi friends! Happy Friday! How are you? I hope youโ€™re enjoying the morning so far. Today, Iโ€™m off to a barre class and then meeting up with a friend for lunch to talk about some exciting upcoming plans. What are you up this weekend? Weโ€™re having friends over for sushi night, and Iโ€™m going to start ordering the kidsโ€™ uniforms and supplies for back to school. I canโ€™t believe itโ€™s less than a month away and wish it could just be summer forever. Iโ€™m definitely enjoying the slower pace. I hope you have a fun and wonderful weekend ahead!

Itโ€™s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something youโ€™re loving in the comments section below.

Exciting news:

I finished IHP Level 2! WAHOO! While it took me a long time to finish – I really wanted to learn and absorb as much as possible, and didnโ€™t take the course to simply pass the tests – it was so worth it, and Iโ€™m honestly a little sad that itโ€™s over. It was over 100 hours of learning, and Iโ€™m so pumped for this new certification and the ability to offer functional labs for my 1:1 clients (and also in the new group coaching program Iโ€™m working on creating). If youโ€™re interested in learning more, send me an email at gina@fitnessista.com with the subject COACHING and I can share the different options with you.

If youโ€™re interested in exploring a new career or if you want to take your current fitness or wellness practice to the next level, I canโ€™t say enough great things about IHP. You can check out the details here, and if you use the code FITNESSISTA, you can get up to $250 off levels 1 and 2.

Celebratory dinner at Vivace:

Fashion + beauty:

Liv and I each got dresses fromย Luisa Positanoย and theyโ€™re our favorite dresses right now. Theyโ€™re 100% linen, made in Italy, and they have the most gorgeous prints and patterns.

(Liv is wearing hers in the pic above!)

The leather purses in Rome are also amazing. Liv and I each picked one out from a little store in Rome. (Donโ€™t worry, P definitely got her share of Italy souvenirs.)

This one is the perfect size and I picked a printed strap:

I also have to tell you about this set! In a Facebook group, the girls were all raving aboutย this Free People dupe.ย I decided to order one and try it out and I loooove it. The quality is excellent and itโ€™s super similar to the original version at a fraction of the cost. The link is here.ย

What are we thinking about the new Wonka movie?

Phoenix is getting a Barrio Bread! Get ready for the best bread of your liiiives.

I saw Sound of Freedom earlier this week with a Bible study friend, and it was incredibly powerful and well done. Itโ€™s obviously a tough subject, but I feel like it was navigated well, and highly recommend it.ย ย

Fitness + good eats:

Weโ€™ve been doing a community detox this week and I forgot how great it feels. I ended up doing a modified version – didnโ€™t want to add any extra stress with the eye situation- but Iโ€™ve been sleeping well, have energy, and am rekindling my love for vegetables lol.

The teriyaki meatballs from the Rachelโ€™s Good Eats cookbook were an A+. The kids loved them, too.

Spiced zucchini carrot bread.ย Canโ€™t wait to try this.

Go-to boba tea order: rose milk tea with almond milk and original boba. YUM.

Happy Friday, friends! Whatโ€™s something youโ€™re loving this week??

xo
